Creator / Dan Blocker

Bobby Dan Davis Blocker (December 10th, 1928- May 13th, 1972) was an American actor best known for playing Hoss Cartwright on Bonanza. He was also a soldier in the U.S. Army during The Korean War, serving as an infantry sergeant.

He died at the age of 43 of a pulmonary embolism. He is the father of actor Dirk Blocker (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
