Main Characters

     Slade/Tekkaman Slade/Tekkaman Blastor/Ranma Saotome
The main character. Formerly Ranma Saotome, but instead of plunging into the Spring of Drowned Girl at Jusenkyo, he fell in an unimprinted spring housing a lost Tekkapod that immediately incased him and began the centuries-long process of converting him into a Tekkaman. Waking up centuries later after Earth had long since become uninhabitable, Ranma awakens adopting the name of Slade and goes on an aimless journey in space. A fateful stop aboard the Ikazuchi gets him involved with the crew of the Nirvana and the events of Vandread.

     Dita Liebely/Tekkaman Sapphire
One of the main Dread Fighters. A beautiful and excitable red-headed Genki Girl who's viewed as weird by the other Mejele women because of her fascination with men whom she considers aliens. Since meeting Slade, Dita has been attracted to him due to his Tekkaman abilities.

Her Dread combines with Slade's Tekkaman form to form Tekkadread Dita, armed with a Wave-Motion Gun combined with Laser Blade on each shoulder. Later, this form can combine with Pegas to form Tekkadread Dita X, a giant winged armored warrior. Once her Dread gets destroyed, the parts merge with Dita to transform her into Tekkaman Sapphire.

     Jura Basil Elden/Tekkaman Ruby
One of the main Dread Fighters who serves as 2nd in command. A sexy, voluptuous blonde woman who's always focused on pursuing beauty. Jura becomes open to men, particularly Slade, since seeing him in action, and as far as she knows, power is beautiful.

Her Dread combines with Slade's Tekkaman form to form Tekkadread Jura, a crab-like mecha that focuses on force fields and attack drones. It's also capable of switching form to a tiger-like mecha focused on agility and slashing. Later, this form can combine with Pegas to form Tekkadread Jura X, a giant robotic cat warrior that Slade can fully utilize the Neko Ken. Once her Dread gets destroyed, the parts merge with Jura to transform her into Tekkaman Ruby.

     Meia Gisborn/Tekkaman Diamond
The leader of the Dread Fighters. A fit and athletic woman who is quite stoic if not overly serious at times. Meia thought Slade to be nothing but a showoff, but was later made to realize he's not like the way Mejele view men.

Her Dread combines with Slade's Tekkaman form to form Tekkadread Meia, a dragon-like mecha built for speed. A Fragile Speedster, it is the fastest craft of the Nirvana. Later, this form can combine with Pegas to form Tekkadread Meia X, a giant robotic phoenix with an even more boosted speed. Once her Dread gets destroyed, the parts merge with Meia to transform her into Tekkaman Diamond.
