Magnolia Magic Academy

Professors

    Laplace

Laplace Magnolia

    Maxwell

Maxwell Libragear

    Deckard

Deckard Dawkins

Head professor of the Public Security Department. As befits the position, he is a rigid adherent to the rules of Magnolia.

    Heine

Heine Mersenne

A kind-hearted, if submissive elven professor of Spatial Manipulation. Because of a constant lack of research funds, she is always eking out even the lowliest of ways to earn money.
  • Butt-Monkey: Becomes this for all of Magnolia Festival. It helps that she's pretty unrepentant for all the money-related crimes she attempted, even having once tried to sneak expensive materials out of Maxwell's lab, got banned for it, and will cause security spells in the lab to destroy everything inside should she try again.
Christina: So, in conclusion, Professor Heine can't enter the lab, right? Professor Heine won't be of help in battle anyways. She's always been watching from a distance until now...
Tamara: Makes me feel better that we won't have to carry around dead weight.
Heine: If you're going to mock me, at least pay me for the insults!
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: She's a bumbling professor who's so impoverished that she shamelessly borrows money from students, but her magic over space is such that even with her offensive spells sealed, she teleported Magic Boost into the stomachs of dozens of top students within at least the first few hours of the school festival, then tricked Christina and co. into distracting the security monsters of Maxwell's lab.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Played With. She's a golden-blond elf who's way more amiable compared to the mage supremacists in Magnolia and investigates a forbidden potion in Magnolia Festival that crippled one of her students in the past, but her money-seeking habits include stealing and taking debts from students no less—not the kind of qualities any student should learn from a professor. Then it turns out Heine was lying about Magic Boost being distributed to underachieving students, which she was actually the distributor, or rather, the direct cause by teleporting the potion into the stomachs of top students, which will force people into developing a cure and thus cure her still-unconscious student.
  • Perpetual Poverty: In the Magnolia Festival event, it's bad enough that in the first few chapters, she tries stealing the wallets of unconscious students, is revealed to have asked for loans from students like Alice, and inquired whether there's a reward for investigating the Magic Boost potions even though it had ruined one of her students in the past. This was because she dedicated it all to researching a cure for Magic Boost, and once that was failing, she decided to spread Magic Boost to the students and force the issue to the higher-ups.
  • Riches to Rags: She was once known as the "Queen of Spatial Manipulation", but her offensive magic spells have been confiscated since she was so deep into her research she neglected a student who resorted to using Magic Boost, a potion that amplifies magic reserves but leaves them cripplingly insane even after the effects wear off. Now she has to hunt for money however she can... even if that means debts.

Iris Secrifyze (and Salader)

Honor student of Magnolia and born to elite mage parents, the nice and cheery Iris is well-known for her capabilities as a mage despite her small mana capacity, which makes it more amazing that she ignored prejudices to befriend Lisha and Proxxon.
