- Healy handling Blueface and Older Guy in his apartment, despite them having a drop on him. By the end of the scene it is made blatantly clear he was in full control of the situation all the time.
- Holly gets trapped in a limo with Blueface moments before he spots Amelia and opens the door to shoot at her. Holly slams the door on his wrist and calls out for Amelia to run before making her own escape.
- When March and Healy exit the elevator at the airport hotel, they notice that an unseen person is fighting off a bunch of goons, and with quite some success even. It's John Boy going through the mooks like a knife through butter.
- Amelia apparently pulls off an offscreen bit of Roofhopping to escape the hotel massacre.
- Holly is actually rather Genre Savvy, because when John Boy shows up to kill Amelia at her own house, she tries various stalling tactics on him at first, before going straight for her dad's gun.
- March fakes drunkenness in order to get the drop on the Older Guy. He is so convincing, his own daughter buys it and is visibly disgusted.
- While nursing a hangover, March does a nice Sherlock Scan of a note that Amelia wrote to determine that it refers to an address and not a flight number.
- Despite being armed only with small handguns, Healy and March manage to hold off John Boy (who's armed with a submachine gun) until the cops arrive and force him to flee. Subverted in that he still accomplishes his task of killing Amelia, if only by sheer chance.
- As whacky as Amelia's plan to expose the auto industry's corruption is, there's a sense of style behind playing a porno/expose film at the Auto Show in front of the corrupt industrialists and the people they're trying to impress. Chet going through with the plan in the climax even after almost everyone else involved has been murdered is surprisingly bold.
- March fighting Older Guy on the roof then shooting him and going off the roof with him after Older Guy tried to pull Holly with him.
- Healy's story about how he stopped a gunman at a diner. Despite being shot and having to cover the medical bill from his own pocket, he claims it was the best day of his life.
- Two down and out guys managed to get the head of the Justice Department convicted of automobile collusion in 2 days off in what would seem to be a dead-end investigation. And while they didn't fix the system that drove her to such an action, it's still an impressive success in record time.
- Healy taking on John Boy in a fight and winning.
