• The climactic scene for "Sanctuary," where Adam and Grady storm a consulate building to rescue the episode's Damsel in Distress, who's been held there as a slave by the Villain of the Week. Extra awesome points for Adam knocking out the leader with one punch while Grady fights the man's mooks.
  Adam: This one's for diplomacy. (POW)
• "Self Defense" has Adam go to confront a wife-beater at his usual watering-hole and show him as the coward he really is, by putting his gun on the bar-counter and daring the guy to pick it up and shoot him before Adam can retaliate. The husband looks about ready to piss himself, while Adam maintains an expression of pure Tranquil Fury...and when the guy can't even dare to go for the gun, Adam leaves a veiled threat with him. And Adam does all this without once raising his voice.
  Adam: Let's see you pick up that gun and shoot me before I do what I'm gonna do to you.
  Husband: What?
  Adam: You heard me. Pick it up.
  Husband: You can't be serious.
  Adam: Only one way to find out. (beat; the husband doesn't move) Now you know how your wife feels. Pick it up, tough guy, come on. Pick it up.
  (husband does nothing)
  Adam: Just what I thought. (reclaims his gun) Remember me the next time you go to hit Lisa. (leaves)
