• Kes, in the Places of Exile timeline, saves all of Fluidic Space from a Voth doomsday weapon - by using her telepathic powers in combination with the minds of Species 8472. All of her training and power pays off by saving an entire universe (even if it's a very small one) and a unique civilization. That’s a far more satisfying outcome than evil Kes in Fury (although Star Trek: String Theory fixed that).
• She also stops the Breen attack on Earth and manages to bring the Dominion War to an end several weeks early, averting the destruction of the Defiant and most of the Cardassian populace.
• The Voth demand the Voyager crew be handed over to them for the crime of upsetting the Voth. Suddenly, all the Voystige Collective turn around and say "Hell, no!" It also shuts up a Voystige politician who's been arguing against allowing the Voyager crew to stick around, as she learns just how little cachet she really has.
• Following on from that, the Voth come in guns blazing, and hope to use their tech to instantly disable all the puny ships facing them. It doesn't quite work, thanks to Tuvok (who, it should be noted, died at the point of divergence) having studied their methods and prepared.
• This doesn't deter the Voth, and Janeway notes the alliance is probably going to go down swinging anyhow... until Species 8472 show up to blast the living crap out of the Voth ship, having finished up with the Borg.
