Awesome / Interview with the Vampire (2022)

• Daniel Molloy repeatedly calling bullshit on Louis—a dangerous vampire who has almost killed him before—to his face and even slapping him hard across the face at one point.
• Louis—who does not know about vampires at this point—seeing Lestat ripping into the throat of a priest who seems to be a family friend and immediately trying to stab Lestat to get him off the priest.
• While it has terrible consequences Louis' retribution against the racist alderman can also be considered this.
• Bookworm Claudia deserves some credit for how she managed to scrape together as much information as she could from across the country, to try to find more vampires.
• Daniel calling out Louis for constantly disrespecting Claudia's memory, and how he doesn't need to do a memoir, he needs massive amounts of therapy.
  Daniel: Was it raining, Louis?
• Claudia getting one over on Lestat in the season finale via Unspoken Plan Guarantee.
• Louis taking control of Daniel's body to make his hand shake violently when he refuses to stop asking insensitive questions about Claudia being sexually assaulted and telling him not to ask again.
• The final scene of the first season, when Rashid reveals himself to be the 514-year-old vampire Armand and tosses a book at Daniel in a manner not dissimilar to how Daniel rudely ordered him to refill his drink earlier, and the "oh, crap" expression on Daniel's face when he realizes that the servant he's been obnoxiously bullying for days is an extremely powerful vampire who's clearly pretty pissed at him.
