Dora Wilk tries to have at least one Awesome moment per book. All spoilers below are unmarked.
- Soul Thief: Dora and Miron are imprisoned in Thief's basement, inside a quickly weakening protection circle. The moment it powers down, Thief will attack them with all his might... and that's still before all Dora's power boost. And then Joshua jumps in from beyond the world separating veil, in full Angelic Glory, wielding Archangel Michael's sword, the only blade in the world that can kill everything. And this Shrinking Violet Joshua proceeds to kick ass.
- Gods Must Be Crazy':
- Badb and Loki's Shapeshifter Showdown is definitely awesome, even though we only get to observe it at distance.
- Implied moment of Awesome: the ghost that got into hell, right into suicide facility, and snatched Dora out of it, right under Samael's nose.
- Winner Takes It All:
- The thrones' arrival. Thrones as in "fire-breathing uber-powerful angels". They might be on Big Bad's services, but they sure know how to make a show.
- Dora and Raphael's duel is somewhat divisive in this regard. Some call it a CMOA for Dora, who, after a total of two weeks of training with sword, manages to win with centuries-old archangel. Others say it's just another proof of Dora's OP characterization. Either way, it's still cool.
- Exorcisms of Dora Wilk: The final fight against Ibrahim's demons, complete with quarduple Back-to-Back Badasses, starring Dora, Joshua, Miron and As.
- No Innocents At War: The first fight club scene, the weretiger versus werewolf. It really shows just what merciless werebeasts can accomplish and in how much of a danger Varg is (the answer: great).
- Toadies:
- Katia making short work of a rival necromancer with style.
- Witkacy, fresh after month of basic training, summoning and controlling - bah, threatening - hundreds of extremely vengeful ghosts and letting them loose against insanely powerful witch.
