• Eiichirou's first few tournaments ended in a third-round exit at best. Then he makes the quarter-finals of a tournament where he defeated the 5th seed, the 16th seed, and the 3rd seed in that order.
• After that, he undergoes a hardcore body development program that temporarily leaves him weaker than before in his next tournament — The STC Cup Kanagawa Tournament. That doesn't last long and, as it turns out, he actually grows stronger than ever over the course of the competition. As a result, he wins it, defeating a seeded player he had already beaten in his previous tournament. The score: 6-1, 6-0. His opponent acknowledges that Eiichirou grew that much stronger.
