- The way Eve's able to win over Margo and all her companions over with a story about her seemingly lonely childhood, and her being the widow of a war hero. This includes wearing a trench coat and a round hat as if they were all she had left of her husband, and saying that she went to Margo's performances to take her mind off the devastation. She really knows how to play to people's weaknesses and soft spots in a way that really sounds sympathetic. Not bad for a character introduction.
- On the opposite side, you also need to give some props to Birdie for managing to see through the deception, be suspicious of her from the start, and notice that Margo was practically being studied by Eve. even if it does make her seem like a spoilsport. Birdie may not have the best relationship with her boss, Margo, but she's not afraid to defend from any harm.
- Eve's manipulations don't stop there. She basically becomes one of Margo's servants playing the superfan card, plays on Margo's fears of getting old, subtly convincing Karen to let her audition for acting by reminding her of Margo's poor leadership, gets Karen to sabotage Margo's attendance, and overall manipulating most of the characters. There's a reason she's gotten the label of a sociopath, she's planed for pretty much any eventuality. Definitely not someone to mess with.
- Addison completely breaking Eve, making clear to her that now she is basically his creature and exposing her as the Smug Snake she is.
- Margo's passive aggressive congratulation to Eve at the end of the film, as she subtly let her know what she thinks of her:Margo: Nice speech, Eve. But I wouldn't worry too much about your heart. You can always put that award where your heart ought to be.
- The ending scene in which Eve gets invaded by a younger Loony Fan who goes by the name of "Phoebe" who's suggested to be just as ruthless and full of dreams as Eve was and proves from her first scenes that her manipulation skills can give Eve herself a run for her money and that sooner or later, the cycle will begin again as Phoebe usurps her way into Eve's life. Then we have that mirror symbolism as pictured above with Phoebe bowing in front of infinite reflections of herself.
