Ebony writes the author's note, and says that she proofread the chapter in about a day's time, hoping that it's to Thomas' liking, since he's hard to please.

In a somewhat rare change of pace, one that only happens when the author feels like it, this chapter not only has a number (off by 3, like most of the others), but actually a title, "Battle With Grover"

Jerry faces Grover, whose breath smells like rotten fish because of his Demonic Possession. Jerry believes that once Grover dies, he will go to heaven, since it's not his fault, and so prays for his own forgiveness. Stalin, who should have left by now, says that he can pray all he likes, but his god will not save him.

Jerry draws his sword and Grover gets out a huge club. Jerry, believing that with all the work he has to do, he's not yet ready to die and go to New Jerusalem, ducks under the club, but is left open when he fails to pierce Grover's armor, and so is knocked over. Grover does an overhead swing that penetrates the ground, but misses, and Jerry does a more successful counterattack to Grover's chest, causing him to sceam in pain.

Jerry tries to appeal to Grover, but fails, as Stalin says that Grover will remain his slave until he dies. Jerry wants Stalin dead but knows he has to deal with Grover first., so when Grover charges him with a club, Jerry dodges the club and stabs him in the throat, killing him. Grover's blood spurts out of his pierced throat and onto Jerry's face, going into his eyes and into his mouth, blinding him and causing him to taste satanic blood.

Grover certainly has had bad luck throughout the series, as not only is he killed the most often, but he often dies the most painful and humiliating deaths, at that; You have to feel sorry for him, in spite of everything he's done.

After Grover's (fifth)death Stalin teleports away and vanishes(again). the Prayer Warriors bury Grover's body while leaving the enemies to rot, before returning to Moscow to plan the invasion of Stalin Town and how to rescue the Tsar.
