Betty has had it! She decides she knows what she wants and it begins with an F! Less than a second after Feebil pulls himself out of the hot-tub she plants a kiss on him! Feebil accepts it!
NO! Feebil! This means you'll have to break up with her after you score! Feebil though appears to like her a lot now. Which really isn't good. Feebil doesn't even appear to know how to break up with her now. Or even appear to know how to break up at all!
After they talk for a few minutes they both go off to do their own thing. Betty ends up calling one of her friends for little visit at the exact moment. That friend is...Zara!
Zara comes to diner with Feebil idyling twiddling his thumbs hoping that she'll slip up on her cover. Strangely enough the topic becomes world history at the table. Zara states that the Soviet Union hasn't existed for over twenty years! Feebil thinks that it can't possibly be true and there all hiding underground, stating this right there at the dinner table his new lover has to remind him that Simitania found all the soviet's and put them in jail thanks to the "Red Alert" act of 1996.
Oh...great! Feebil finally feels safe in his own home after many days. Free from his need to uncover any spies he attempts to go up and flirt with Zara! that is right. He directly and obviously flirts with Zara right in front of his new girlfriend! "I saw you in my dreams. You must be the one I marry!" does actually get the lady's affection for some reason but Betty interrupts angry at Zara for noticing Feebil was flirting and not knowing they were in a relationship. Zara leaves and our hero and Ms. Roomies go to bed peacefully.
The next day Betty goes outside to notice the couple have a few unpaid bills. 859 simoleons of unpaid bills to be exact. This is especially a big problem because we only have 130! Feebil doesn't get paid all that much for acting in the "Freight Night hour" and even if we saved up there would still be more bills by the time he saved up. Sense they don't want to sell too much she takes the newspaper inside and gets a job as a Dare Devil!
After another day at the ol' grind Feebil finds himself with a bit more money. Betty however finds herself with a promotion! Amazing what you can get with just one day of semi-hard work in old Simville. I'm amazed that there are any waiters or construction workers or any entry level job now! After all, you can and often will be promoted on your first day of work just for showing up in a good mood. These guys would probably make you the boss if you actually did any work!
Betty is now a White Water guide. That's right folks for only a few lousy bucks you can get your kid on a raft with somebody who's first job was yesterday. They have no work experience, medical training, or emergency procedures but they sure have that go-getter attitude! Sign your kid up today, or else we'll send them to military school!
With her promotion comes a bonus. With that we finally have enough to pay the bills and buy and weight lifting machine! Feebil uses it to get his small body into shape for his next big role! With this he also gets more friends to work with him and keep him company at dinner. Apparently they all have connections in Hollywood because as soon as he gets the friendship of Fran Foofaraw, Freddy Foofaraw, and a couple of others(including his Mom. But than again she is a Landgraab) he is just about ready for promotion. The only thing that stands in his way is his Charisma. He mumbles like James Dean but has neither the cool "aura" nor the boyish good looks of young Hollywood star. So he goes into that room and recites his speech.
"Get back martians get back to the spaceship and LEAVE OUT PLANET ALONE!"
Finally comfortable in his role of Sargent Martin "The Martian" Slayer he steps out into bed to see Betty already beside him. It is unfortunate that the first time you score with somebody you have to marry them but that is just the way Sim law works. He is going to have to break up with her, but how? Sleeping on this tonight our two heroes stay asleep until Betty wakes up to go to work a few hours before our Aptly named hero. Just before Feebil goes to work he discovers that apparently she saved both kids and adults from drowning! For that we get a $1000 grant. In addition Feebil than gets a phone call about how his game design got used by a real company and he gets paid a pittance of $500 for it! What luck!
After a long hard day of Sim work, (I imagine the Sims especially the actors babble to each other in Simlish all day and occasionally do something that resembles their job) Feebil comes back to a promotion!
Now he has the best job in Show Buisness! The supporting role. He's the heroes best friend who gets all sorts of great lines, can actually die, or...better yet let me just let the Sim Gods describe this:
Job: Supporting Player
"Your name's not on the poster, but at least it's a "major motion picture". You're the best friend, the villain's sidekick, or the cop who dies in the first half-hour. But, the studios have noticed you, and big things may be on the horizon. Keep practicing your lines and remember, it's not always what you know, it's who you know that counts. "
So now what does Feebil focus on? Does he try to improve his Charisma, body and creativity so he can get promoted, should he focus on the social side of things now even though no lady will marry him unless he becomes a TV Star (!)? Will he ever see Pierre and Pauline again? Last but not least how will he ever break up with Betty? It's illegal to marry a roommate in Simitania so he can't score with her, but if he tries something else it is cheating. What will he do now!?
I don't know! Why are you asking me? It's all up to you guys!
So...what happened? Well I have to apologize for why this is so late. I'm not dead as you can tell by reading this I've just been having a weird last few weeks. I started a temporary job and than got sick immediately after finishing it, between that and family stuff, a couple of tests and family stuff I'm afraid it has just gotten harder to update.
I AM going to finish this liveblog and I hope it will be funny for you guys and you will enjoy giving Feebil commands. Because I am busy over the weekend and may do something Monday the next update will be on Tuesday. What Feebil does next is up to you and I may just use a mixture of a lot if you all choose something different.
Next update we don't stop until we reach the ultimate choice! Who does Feebil Marry!?
