** The intervention quest "The Five Cogna Lords: Figaro" requires you to play basically Battleship on a 5x5 board. You don't need to beat it to continue the story, but to get the Maduin Memento you have to beat it in 20 turns or less, without losing a single unit. You and your enemy both have three units, with 1, 2 and 3 hp each, meaning you only have 14 spare turns to actually look for the enemy, as you need the other six to actually take down all their hp.

It's so infamous that the notes on the ''Maxima'' expansion specifically state they made this mini-game easier.

There being a specific "secret trick" does not make it an Anti Climax Boss. As for Figaro, the official strategy guide gives the turnlimit as 20 and I know for a fact I've gotten it on Maxima and took 13.

* AntiClimaxBoss: [[spoiler: If you know the secret trick, the final boss, Exine Bahamut becomes a complete joke, especially compared to the SequentialBoss sequence before it. Whenever he uses a -ja level spell, he'll become immune to the element of that spell, and it changes every time he uses a -ja spell. When he starts counting down to using Megaflare, he gains a 200% weakness to '''every element except the one of the last -ja spell he cast'''. If you use Libra on him or have been keeping track what spells he's been using, and have been saving your spellstones, you can throw several of them at him for a whopping '''9000 damage each''', ending the final battle in a few turns.]]
** [[spoiler:This can also be invoked against any boss in Nightmare Difficulty with a well-leveled Behemonster, by summoning them and defending until your HP drops to 1/3, before unleashing a barrage of Revenge Blasts. By then either the Heavy Counters have done them in or the subsequent Revenge Blast storm will easily deal '''more than 30000''' damage per hit. Such tactic allows for the extermination of Nightmare [[GetBackHereBoss Supraltima Weapon]] in one cycle.]]

* PlayTheGameSkipTheStory: Pairing with the PeripheryDemographic. Eventually the cliches dull into NarmCharm, the jokes (occasionally) hit their mark, and overall the experience is pleasant enough to endure for the gameplay.
