* SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments:
** Khashoggi's plan coming together, culminating in him [[HeroKiller wiping out the Bohemians]] with ''Seven Seas of Rhye.''
** The last Bohemians rallying the people, culminating with an epic performance of ''Bohemian Rhapsody.''

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: Killer Queen telling Khashoggi that she is going to fully sing "Don't Stop Me Now" on the play's sixth anniversary. When Khashoggi tells her that this isn't part of the script, she responds "Screw the script!"

** Proposed by his original actor: Khashoggi is a Bohemian sympathiser, and is working within the system to bring about its downfall. Given that he is essentially the person who puts events in motion, there is support for this one.
*** The 2022 UK tour lends weight to this theory by showing Killer Queen wielding mind control powers; a few times she's seen using them to puppet Khashoggi around. Notably, she doesn't appear to have to do this to any of her other henchmen.

*** Admittedly, the earlier productions make it clear that the Killer Queen simply runs the world to her own whims, and is trying to stop the Bohemians because they don't want to play her game, and she doesn't understand why.
** Then we come to the theories on Galileo and Scaramouche, the most popular of which run along the lines of them being the reincarnations (or alternately in the latter case, the descendant) of Freddie Mercury and Brian May.
*** Earlier runs of the show invoked this (with varying levels of emphasis) in the case of Scaramouche. The Bohemians make much of the hairy guitar god Bri-An, whose mighty axe will be instrumental in bringing on The Rhapsody. When Scaramouche plays the guitar, Pop realises "The Hairy God of Rock is back, and [[HairyGirl he's a ''girl''?!]]"

* VindicatedByHistory: The show was absolutely savaged by the critics when it opened in 2002, where only the individual performances of a few of the cast were remarked upon positively, and faced cancellation twice, but still sold out many shows on a routine basis, and lasted them a good 12 years at the Dominion Theatre, as one of the longest-running shows in the West End.
** That's mostly because it underwent a drastic rewrite after the opening weeks. Ben Elton admits they didn't get the show right until the Australian version a year later (with many of the changes funnelled back to the West End version).

* EvilIsSexy: Khashoggi and Killer Queen, who are both in attractive outfits. Killer Queen invokes it hard by intentionally being a total diva and seductress, (The script even calling her a dominatrix) and Khashoggi wearing CoolShades and a BadassLongcoat.

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwespme: Killer Queen telling Khashoggi that she is going to fully sing "Don’t Stop Me Now" on the play’s sixth anniversary. When Khashoggi tells her that this isn’t part of the script, she responds "Screw the script!"

* ClicheStorm: Invoked. TheChosenOne ends up going on a journey to find an ancient weapon to face down an evil MegaCorp, accompanied by a sharp-tongued love interest and a kooky mentor. Along the way, they meet LaResistance, and their leader is killed. [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools Notably, this just adds to the]] CrazyAwesome [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools vibe of the show.]]

* MagnificentBastard: High Commander Khashoggi, the suave and competent security chief of the [[MegaCorp Globalsoft Corporation]] and [[TheDragon top lieutenant]] to [[CorruptCorporateExecutive CEO Killer Queen]], tracks down the rebellious Galileo Figaro the moment he can, and discovers he is likely [[TheChosenOne The Dreamer]], who is fated to defeat Globalsoft and revive music. Immediately hatching a scheme, he sets up the escape of Galileo and fellow rebel Scaramouche, knowing that [[LaResistance the Bohemians]] will take them in. Using a tracking device implanted into them, Khashoggi hunts down the Bohemians, kills their leader Britney "Brit" Spears, captures them all except Galileo and Scaramouche and, after deducing they have no information to give him, renders them braindead in stylish fashion. Khashoggi immediately begins to track down the two escapees, only kept from complete victory by Killer Queen's impulsive decision to kill him.

* CompleteMonster: [[TheDragon High Commander Khashoggi]] is the top enforcer of the [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Killer Queen]]'s forces of the Globalsoft corporation. Forcing Globalsoft's will upon the world with an iron fist, Khashoggi tracks down the base of the Bohemians, and ruthlessly murders their top member. Upon capturing the Bohemians, he brutally interrogates them, and, when he does not get what he wants out of them, he "brain-drains" them all, sadistically killing them with ElectricTorture.

** Khashoggi, first and foremost. Whereas most characters in the show are somewhat goofy, Khashoggi strikes up a morbidly funny combination of being a total sadist and extremely competent. When Killer Queen kills him, it's clear she's screwed up badly.
