Grizz becomes a bacon-wrapped brat, Ice Bear a rack of pork ribs, and Otter a steak. Even if you’re not a vegetarian, a couple of these scenes may seem {{squick}}y to watch.

** Madeline and her mother Madame Malin from “Hashtag Number One Fan”. Madeline rarely opens her eyes, but when she does, she reveals her maniacal obsession for Panda and keeping him for herself. Her mother Malin may be saner, but she will do anything for her “precious baby angel”, even if it means [[WouldHurtAChild harming or killing Panda’s brothers]].
* PopularWithFurries: Thanks in part to having a lot more anthropomorphic characters besides the bears, there's a decent amount of furry fans of this show. From Madame Malin who is not only a vixen but also a fashion designer and a mother to the wolf from Sheep Bears who looks like a muscular frat bro.

* UncertainAudience: Just who is this cartoon trying to appeal to? The show seems a little confused. On one hand, to associate itself with a recognizable brand, it attempts to appeal to fans of the parent show, even seemingly trying to tie-in as a prequel to the original series. But on the other hand, due to the more anime-centric visuals and overtly bizarre and supernatural tone, it has so little in common with ''We Bare Bears'' that older fans will likely just feel annoyed, and younger ones just feeling disappointed that the original isn’t nearly as surreal and fantastical as this spin-off.
