** The fans were correct to presume [[spoiler:Flametail would die]].
** They were also correct in figuring out that [[spoiler:Leafpool and Crowfeather are the parents of Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather]].
** And that [[spoiler: Hollyleaf was alive]].

* GannonBanned: Clan names should be spelled in camelcase (Thunder'''C'''lan, not Thunder'''c'''lan), and character names should not (Fire'''h'''eart, not Fire'''H'''eart). Many poor fanfictions get this incorrect.

** Ashfur. He's not entirely loved, being the biggest BaseBreaker in the entire series, but the amount of love those who like him feel for him, as well as him being such a LoveItOrHateIt character, seems odd when you consider that he didn't have much impact on the series outside of being a RomanticFalseLead for one book and [[spoiler:doing a FaceHeelTurn that lasted for all of five chapters]].

* FandomHeresy: Saying the third series is your favorite.

* MemeticBadass: [[EnsembleDarkhorse Mousewhisker]] on Vicky's {{Facebook}} page.

* TheWoobie: Given the series' fondness of [[BreakTheCutie breaking every cutie it can find]], ''Warriors'' is chock full of them. Leafpool, Cinderpelt, Brightheart, Ashfur (though [[DracoInLeatherPants heavily exaggerated by some of his fans]]), and, depending on your view of her, [[spoiler: Hollyleaf]].

** Scourge's backstory in ''Rise of Scourge'' has generated some sympathy for him. Of course, some fans have [[MisaimedFandom taken it]] ''[[CompletelyMissingThePoint way]]'' [[DracoInLeatherPants too far]].

* BaseBreaker: Ever since ''Long Shadows'' came out, everyone either seems to [[TheScrappy hate Ashfur's guts]] or [[DracoInleatherPants adore him]]. Then there's the debate about whether kittypet discrimination is racism and whether Firestar is a lovable hero or a a washed out Gary Stu.

* BrokenBase: ''Good grief,'' is it broken.

** Don't forget pretty much every single major character in the entire series.

However, despite that he only has a few scenes, the amount of support and fanfiction (he often survives the hawk attack, through various means) is astonishing. ** Mapleshade became incredibly popular ''before she even made an appearance''.

* YourMilageMayVary: The first series of six is pretty universally liked, but the second series onwards can be filled with [[CrowningMomentofAwesome Moments of Awesome]] or Moments of Suck, or some mix of the two, depending on your point of view.
** Not even the first series is completely immune from this: there are fans who think the books started GrowingTheBeard during the second series.

** Leafpool. Fans either love her for her {{woobie}}ness and selflessness, or hate her for breaking the warrior code and lying to her Clan.

* CharacterDerailment: For most of the series, Firestar is depicted as a peace-loving character, who strongly believes in relatively open borders and helping out the other Clans, [[TheScrappy No matter how much it pisses off the fans]]. However, in ''Fading Echoes'', [[spoiler: He decides to start a war with [=ShadowClan=] over a patch of land that he acknowledges really isn't worth it, based off the word of an apprentice, who claimed to have had a dream from [=StarClan=]. A dream not shared by the resident medicine cat. Or the ex-medicine cat. Or Firestar himself. Although said apprentice's sister ''is'' special, it is for reasons that cannot possibly apply to the apprentice above]].
** Not really outright "derailment", though. Although he avoids fights, he will still fight if necessary, and [[spoiler:he honestly believed that the fight was absolutely necessary to avoid more bloodshed]]. On top of that [[spoiler:he actually warned [=ShadowClan=] beforehand and gave them an opportunity to surrender the land peacefully, which is more than any of the other leaders can say]]. Another possible explanation is that he was just sick and tired of everyone, fanbase and in universe, hating on him and eventually gave in. [[UnpleasableFanbase Of course, everyone hates him even more now]].
*** The trouble is that Firestar [[spoiler: chose to make going on the offensive his ''first'' course of action, instead of ordering more patrols of the border]].
**** [[spoiler:He had already been carefully guarding the boarder for the whole book, the possibility of an attack was just the last straw. On top of that, he discussed his choice with Brambleclaw and Graystripe, and still tried to offer a peaceful solution to the problem]].

** Snowkit, oddly, especially since he wasn't important at all (for those that don't know, he was just a deaf kit in the first story who was stolen by a hawk, and did nothing for the plot but edge on Bluestar's madness). However, despite that he only has a few scenes, the amount of support and fanfiction (he often survives the hawk attack, through various means) is astonishing. This Troper herself wrote a Snowkit story (to experiment with writing about a deaf character) and she received nearly 600 reviews. To say that she was shocked would be an understatement.

** This has to be the first time in history ShipSinking has verified the pairing in question: [[spoiler:Vicky says that Jay/Stick was romance; therefore, it had to be doomed.]]

And all she wanted to do is help her Clan clean up the camp. Someone give her a hug already.]]
