* SoBadItsGood: Granted, it is made by D'Ocon Films, who are infamous for most of their cartoons having low production values, but that doesn't mean it can't make for some unintentional laughs. In fact, assuming you're into constantly recycled animation, bad {{pun}}s and other lame jokes, and the occasional incorrect English grammar in the English-dubbed songs, it's quite the opposite.

* ValuesResonance: The chorus of the opening song feels poignant in TheNewTwenties as a celebration of diversity.
--> We are white and we are green,
--> We are black and yellow,
--> We are different (Oh yeah!),
--> We are all together!

* GermansLoveDavisHasselhoff: Outside of Spain, it is also quite well remembered in Malaysia to the point where a mockbuster was created several years after the show’s run on Malaysian TV ended.

** In 1998, a Malaysian cartoon called ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2T3yTJitJ4 Frootees]]'' premiered. The name alone is similar enough to ''The Fruitties'' that it borders on being the same name altogether. Some Malaysians believe the former to be a [[TheMockbuster blatant ripoff]] given that the original had aired in Malaysia a year or two prior.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Whenever the show is discussed in Spain, Roly (known as Gazpacho in the original Spanish version) will usually be brought up as the show's most memorable character, mostly due to his thick Andalusian (southern Spanish) accent.

** A cartoon about talking fruits who live on an island near a volcano? [[WesternAnimation/CoconutFredsFruitSaladIsland Sounds kinda like a cartoon series that Kids WB would air later.]]
