He has part of The Carver's soul in him--and uses the knowledge it bestows to become a "perfect killer", jumping between various timelines and eras and reinventing himself under a different identity in every reality to ensure that he will never get caught. His vast HistoricalRapSheet includes murdering over 100 people as TheDreaded, mysterious Wild West outlaw Barnabelt Kinnard; inflicting torments on an entire kingdom as the English monarch Comshine Orok; and eviscerating an entire religious cult, including his own pregnant sister--whose baby he devoured; said baby possibly his own--as Adam Spirit. He later becomes a PsychoForHire, assisting The Carver in his plans; during The Hooks Killer Documentary, he cuts open a young filmmaker who has been making a documentary about Hooks and raises The Carver into his body--possibly while the original host is still alive--allowing him to roam freely throughout .Reality. In one of his final onscreen appearances, Hooks confesses onscreen to having committed 643 murders--in one town--over the past 40 years. His final body count is suggested to be in the thousands.

The Carver is NOT the same entity as De'ebo (and The Carver, as demonstrated, on his character page profile, wasn't a Complete Monster himself).

* CompleteMonster: In a ForeverWar with a vast cast of morally-ambiguous characters, these three stand out as the absolute worst:
** De'ebo, God of the Godless, is the original Hethe and the entity behind most of the tragedies throughout the franchise. Using his first creation, Hash'bor'kanibal, The Carver, as a vessel for his energy, De'ebo would go on to make the lives of both Arkn and Dekn a living hell. Destroying a large portion of humanity during a fight with Gilgamesh, De'ebo used his former lover's bones and agony to construct the Infernous, and sealed not only his own son, Uriel, but also his other lover in there, at the request of his manipulated daughter. Having been affiliated with The Watchers, De'ebo informed the Arkn Cabinet of their presence, resulting in the massacre of several innocent nephilim. With the help of the Hooks Killer, De'ebo gained a human vessel, and tortured his grandson, Ellpagg, in the Infernous. Encountering Azrael in the Infernous, De'ebo gouges his eyes out and reveals his ultimate goal: to kill every being in existence. Possessing the body of his nephilim son Michael, De'ebo gives Azrael a brand which would burn his body whenever a Hethe came near him, and allowed Azrael to shoot him, killing Michael. A remorseless being with no empathy for anyone, not even his own offspring, De'ebo could only care about amusing himself with pain and chaos.

** The aforementioned Hooks Killer is a repulsive psychopath with a passion for sickening atrocities and a PsychoForHire assisting De'ebo in his plans while committing countless murders solely for fun. A human with part of The Carver's soul within himself, Hooks uses his powers to become a "perfect killer", reincarnating as multiple criminals in different eras and timelines, with his actions including murdering over 100 people while an outlaw; becoming an utterly brutal medieval ruler; and eviscerating his own pregnant sister and devouring her child, which may or may not have been his own. Not satisfied with murder, Hooks also enjoys consuming human flesh laced with fish hooks, and enjoyed rape, preferably on infants. In order to give De'ebo a human vessel, Hooks murdered a young filmmaker who had been documenting his murders and mutilated Michael Knight, sending him to the Infernous to be tormented by his father. Despite his status as a mere human, Hooks proved himself to be much more deplorable than many Arkn or Dekn.

* TroubledProduction: A number of vlogs and blogs set in the War Chronicles and the Winter Saga were delayed due to disagreements between the creators (namely, disputes regarding various plot points in the Arknthology and how various characters fit into it). Said disputes led to a great deal of infighting, which resulted in a number of creators leaving the Mythos -- and lead to a number of vlogs and blogs to be cancelled and/or deleted. In the end, [=DeathlyLogic=] and [=PesterJest=] decided to abandon any plot arcs tied to the Arknthology, cancel their remaining series, and begin work on the SpinOff ahead of schedule. (However, a number of series and stories within the Chronology and the Extended Universe are still in production.)

* TroubledProduction: In the first incarnation of the franchise, a number of vlogs and blogs set in the War Chronicles and the Winter Saga were delayed due to disagreements between the creators (namely, disputes regarding the Arknthology and how various characters fit into it). Said disputes led to a great deal of infighting, which ultimately resulted in a number of creators leaving the Mythos -- causing a great many vlogs and blogs to be cancelled and/or deleted. In the end, [=DeathlyLogic=] and [=PesterJest=] decided to abandon any plot arcs tied to the Arknthology, cancel their remaining series, and reboot the franchise ahead of schedule. (However, a number of series and stories within the Chronology and the Extended Universe are still in production.)
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: [=DeathlyLogic=] made a Tumblr post detailing the original planned ending for Solar's Crimson, as well as the write-off for Azrael and Raziel within the Mythos.

* CentralTheme: True good and evil comes from our actions and the decisions we make (rather than our origins or allegiances).
* CompleteMonster: De'ebo. He's an EldritchAbomination who deliberately creates an entire universe just to watch his creations suffer, die, and war against each other...just so he can destroy everything, re-create it, and make them suffer in all new ways. Rather than tweak things from afar, he prefers a hands-on approach, actively stepping in to twist events to cause as much chaos, pain and suffering as he can firsthand (in addition to occasionally acting as torturer supreme in a Hell he didn't even create). He does this for no reason other than his own twisted amusement.
* InternetBackdraft: [=TypeONegative=] and [=FeralWasteland=]'s decision to leave the Mythos in late 2016 (due to what can charitably be called "creative differences"). The announcement resulted in a great deal of anger and harassment from fans: some longtime viewers of their respective series who felt "cheated" out of a conclusion, others who blamed them for "killing the franchise" (despite the fact that, at the time, there were still a number of creators producing content in the Mythos), and some who accused them of being "mean" to [=DeathlyLogic=] (due to some...less than complimentary statements the two made about their former co-creator). The harassment finally grew so bad that [=Type0Negative=] was forced to delete his Tumblr and create a new Facebook account. Finally, [=DeathlyLogic=] announced that he was going to scrap any remaining projects in the Arknthology and go ahead with the franchise ReBoot, which seemingly put an end to the harassment.
