* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Kendall in Dino Super Charge. She rarely gets in any action despite being a Ranger now (there's one moment where she's at a quarry with everyone else except Tyler, and the others morph-- ''but she doesn't'', and her only response is to just look at the others), rarely pilots her own Zord, and we know absolutely nothing about her backstory.
** Lord Arcanon. Since he arrived so late in the second half of Dino Super Charge, he was only around for a handful of episodes [[spoiler:before Sledge returned to retake his BigBad title]], not even having enough time to build up a proper final battle against the rangers. Considering that he's the reason the whole series happened (Sledge hunting down criminals, Heckyll becoming evil), that makes it even worse.
** Tyler's father James Navarro. For someone who kicked off Tyler's entire story arc, he is highly underused and rarely interacts with his own son.

*** The former is most likely explanation for this, since if you pay close attention to the aforementioned shot, you can very briefly see the logo for ''Series/SuperHeroTime'', the program block that ''Wizard'' and ''Kyoryuger'' aired on in Japan, and the footage matches up perfectly with [[https://youtu.be/wi8xKY34xPQ?t=193 the SHT bumper for Wizard and Kyoryuger]], not to mention that ''Wizard'' never showed up during the series at all.

** In ''Mighty Morphin'' season 2, Lord Zedd's personal Zord, Serpentera, was limited by it's power supply - while officially, the Zord required a huge amount of fuel to use, a common joke is that it's powered by AA Batteries. Here, the villains get their hands on the Gold Ranger's Zord...but can only use it by using the Gold Dino Charger, which is basically a battery!

** The finale of Dino Supercharge after it aired internationally. Oh boy. The fans don't know whether to be more peeved at [[spoiler: the lack of Talon Ranger, or the fact that the whole season may either be at best an alternate universe or at worst the end of twenty-two years of established continuity, as the events of the finale undoes the very extinction of the dinosaurs and reveals they now share the planet with the human race in the present]]

*** [[spoiler: His status as this, along with the missed opportunity involving the Deathryuger/Kyoryu Navy/Talon Ranger suit could be the reason why he was not only brought back but given the promotion to Ranger for the ''Beyond the Grid'' storyline for the [[ComicBook/MightyMorphinPowerRangersBoomStudios comics]].]]

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Before his character has even had his debut, Yoshi Sudarso has been very loved by fans because of his fellow geekiness: He watched ''Kyoryuger'', ''bought the toys'', knew Nossan's poses and [[ApprovalOfGod even got approval from Nossan's actor]]. That's one awesome dude. No surprise then that his character, Koda, is (so far) the most popular on the show. People love his lines and expressions.

** The Aqua ranger [[spoiler: James Navarro]] is generally disliked for their poor parenting choices, namely [[spoiler: being out of Tyler's life longer than he needed to, never contacting him or letting him know he's alive, and leaving him again almost as soon as they're reunited.]]

** James’ tendency to come up with reasons for why he has to leave Tyler when there were arguably better options can come off less as DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou and more like a straight up deadbeat dad.

*** Arguably, this issue has been put to rest now that ''Ninja Steel'' has revealed that ''Dino Charge'' did, in fact, take place in an alternative universe.]

*** Also regarding the source material. The fact that the other rangers, especially the Green Ranger who had very little focus in the series, are actually getting character episodes and proper development instead of it all being focused on the Red Ranger.

* AntiClimaxBoss: Lord Arkanon laughs off every attack the Ultrazord throws at him without a scratch. [[spoilers: But their ultimate attack just happens to be too much for him.]]

*** The former is most likely explanation for this, since if you pay close attention to the aforementioned shot, you can very briefly see the logo for Super Hero Time, the program block that ''Wizard'' and ''Kyoryuger'' aired on in Japan - in fact, the footage was likely used from [[https://youtu.be/TyMd3zBzJos?t=133 this bumper]].

** Johnathan Tzachor (who produced ''Samurai'' and ''Megaforce'') stated in the past that all the series he didn't work on (''Ninja Storm''-''RPM'') are not canon - obviously, Saban eventually overruled him on this claim. [[spoiler: If ''Dino Super Charge'''s ending did really retcon all previous ''Power Rangers'' seasons, the only one that would still be canon is ''RPM'']].

** Keeper. His only purpose for 90% of the show seems to be to explain the moral of the episode and nothing else. That said, he still does more as a mentor than Gosei or Mentor Ji.

* CriticalResearchFailure: Here, the Pachycepholasaurus is incorrectly known as the Pachyosaurus, by the dinosaur geek no less. Granted, saying the former would be a mouthful for anyone, so it's not completely unjustified.
** Hoo boy, the finale. Strap in, folks. First, the rangers come up with a plan to destroy the dark energem by getting as many people as possible to hold up mirrors to reflect sunlight at it to destroy it...yeah. Then, after they go back in time and end up inverting the meteor that hit the Earth at the beginning of the series so it never happened. Then when they go back to the present, they find out that dinosaurs now cohabitate the Earth with humans. Where to even begin...Firstly, if dinosaurs never went extinct, lower mammals would have never had the chance to evolve into the species we know of today because food would be scarce, not allowing populations of mammals to grow & evolve over time to suit their environments, as most of the vegetation would be eaten by the plant eating dinos. THEN there's the carnivores possibly eating a good number of the mammals. Secondly, if the dinosaurs were still alive over 65 million years, as far as we've estimated, wouldn't they have evolved into some other form of life like mammals have and not just be evolutionarily stagnant for that amount of time? There can only be one dominant species on a planet at once, folks, and the one that not only survives, but gets stronger as a species as populations grow & develop. ''Power Rangers'' is known sometimes for screwing around with science to fit the needs of the plot, this IS a kids' action show that requires bending the laws of physics, & logic, to get a group of 3-5 initial people, who are then joined by one to several others over the course of the season, into power suits to fight off evil forces, most of which are aliens, after all, but for crying out loud!
*** Then there's the fact that if the dinosaurs still exist, ''Dino Thunder'', a well-liked series in the fandom, can't happen, as Mesogog would've never be born due to Anton Mercer never meeting up with Tommy to look for the Dino Gems, & their partnership never forging, then nothing else would've been set in motion. Nor possibly MMPR, seeing as half the team that have Dinosaurs as their costume motif would be significant enough to warrant such a thing, nor would the other two of the main 5's animals have evolved, then went extinct, to be well known enough. This series is taking a big steaming dump on the series that started it all, is getting a huge chunk of merch, and is what a good chunk of the older fandom still remembers fondly over 20 years later.

** One combinedF with StockFootageFailure: In the ''Dino Super Charge'' opening, there's a shot of all 8 Rangers taken from a ''Kyoryuger'' episode that had Kyoryu Cyan rather than Kyoryu Violet. For some unfathomable reason, instead of doing a new shot with Kendall in the Purple Ranger suit instead (or doing what they did with replacing Megaforce Red with Overdrive Red in the first ''Super Megaforce'' episode), they instead recolored the Kyoryu Cyan suit in the scene a VERY unconvincing purple and added a "skirt" to it, despite the fact that Kyoryu Cyan has a ''completely different helmet''.
