* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: More sex jokes, molestation, frequent lethal use of weapons and profanities than you can shake a yardstick at. Especially ''Don Makila'', a BlackComedy WorkCom about Negas working for a soulless and bureaucratic corporation.

** Random Soldier from the ''Cherc'' sketches. He wants to be friends with Cherc and Donkey so badly, no matter how much the former treats him like crap. Even R.A.L and Donkey think Cherc goes too far.
* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Negas himself. OnlySaneMan or a hypocritical cynic who's quick to judge everyone? Is he any better than the various workers at the maquila? Or is he actively shunning and mocking those who don't meet his high standards, even if it's for reasons that are shallow?
** Some episodes focused on Checker imply that he is more mature than the Negas-episodes usually gives him credit for; it's just that we normally see him through Negas's perspective, as the ditzy homosexual coworker.

* BaseBreakingCharacter:
** Checker is either a hilarious LovableSexManiac or an OverusedRunningGag with an annoying voice.
** Ñoñostacio is either a cool OtakuSurrogate with a naive personality or annoying for the same reason (and his obesssion with Monchiro).

* BrokenBase: As gathered from SeasonalRot below, fan opinion is sharply divided as to when/if the series started going downhill. Depending on who you ask, the show either went downhill once the R.A.L gave more attention to Niño Ratta and Poppa Peg, or after ''Don Makila'''s final season. While others think R.A.L's animations stayed consistent throughout their whole run.

* UnintentionallySympathetic:
** Negas is meant to be seen as a jerk when he breaks his Christmas gift in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmsqGS8K-Ro "Intercambio de Navidad"]]. Note that Checker is a pervert who gets away with workplace harrassment due to his high position at the maquila and sexually assaults Negas through the slightest provocations. Many fans saw the mocking as the LaserGuidedKarma Checker deserved.

* BrokenBase:
** Negas's later episodes, which have become more nonsensical. To some, it's an improvement in art, while the rest see it as a SeasonalRot.
** The show itself is either hilarious or relies way too much on shock humor and doesn't take advantage of its premise.
** R.A.L announcing that he will stop making Negas's episodes in favor of Niño Ratta and Poppa, as they are very popular with the younger (and more numerous) audience. Many fans were not amused. He eventually stopped making Poppa episodes.

* {{Adorkable}}: Negas is a salaryman with a HairTriggerTemper, but he can be very awkward when talking to people he doesn’t actually dislike. Not to mention being a fanboy for the Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles.

* PeripheryDemographic: This cartoon has been watched by children, even though it wasn't really for kids...

* TooBleakStoppedCaring: The sadistic nature of the ''"Don Makila"'' segments and the truly unfair ButtMonkey approach to Negas makes the show very painful to sit through, especially considering Negas pretty much never wins anything at the end of each episode.

* FriendlyFandoms: With ''WebAnimation/VeteALaVersh'' and ''WebAnimation/PoGonYuTo'', as they're Mexican animations.

* BileFascination: Especially the Niño Ratta segments.

** Moni and her homosexual hair. It's ironic that RAL thought the character's debut would fail.

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Is Negas the OnlySaneMan in a world where there is very little common sense. or he's just a {{Jerkass}} who sees himself superior to everyone?

** Negas himself. Some admire him as the ideal role model due to his DeadpanSnarker attitude, while others see him as a clearly flawed but still well rounded character. Then there are those who find him an all around self-righteous hypocrite (like making fun of Ñoñostacio for being an otaku, when he is a LoonyFan of the Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles himself).

* LauncherOfAThousandShips: Negas is shipped with almost everyone in the series: Checker, Ñoñostacio, Paulo, even [[ScrewYourself Pinchimono]] and [[IncestYayShipping Ral]].

He always makes fun of them because he sees Mexicans as uncultured, vulgar delinquents. One year later, Creator/DonaldTrump reveals his consistently inflammatory rhetoric against Mexicans for the same reasons.

** The new seasons, which have become more nonsensical. To some, it's an improvement, while the rest see it as a SeasonalRot.

** Don Cuco comes by a very distant second, or at least to barely make it out of TheScrappy label, mainly due to him always beating the shit of [[CreatorsPet Niño Ratta]] constantly.

** Niño Ratta ended up being the most profiteable of the two and he eventually stopped making Poppa episodes.
