Eventually she revealed on Twitter that Pinkie's scenes were added by request to her original script, and many people had to approve it before airing. Not just her.

* HarsherInHindsight: Back in [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E5GriffonTheBrushOff "Griffon The Brush Off"]] Pinkie said that Fluttershy was too sensitive to be pranked. Looks like someone's forgotten about that...
