In "Cop Con", once the police is all locked out of the city during the con, people who were otherwise criminals starts improving the city, and their efforts are thwarted once the police comes back to indulge in their own violence.

* UncannyValley: The show's art style is basically seeing Patrick Nagel's images in motion, which can be pretty surreal.

* CultClassic: Was cancelled after one season due to poor ratings and most critics who paid attention didn't think it was anything special, but it still managed to find a small yet loyal fanbase.

** This becomes even worse with more and more allegations of workplace sexual harassment coming to light shortly after the season aired.

*** Chrysalis saving Dazzle and Aiaiaia after Rad traps them, and then helps them take down Rad and, essentially, El Diablo Malo. She even bitch slaps the singer Rad found with her wind chimes.

*** When the Cunninghams open fire on the congregation, after Dazzle and the other cops prove incompetent at shooting Talc, Pizzaz decides it's time to "[[WhipItGood WAKE THE SNAKE!]]" She then whips out Talc's eye.

*** Even though he was ''supposed'' to be focusing on arresting El Diablo Malo, it's still pretty impressive how Dazzle managed to alleviate Aiaiaia from a simple mall singer to a ''famous'', newsworthy mall singer practically overnight.

* DudeNotFunny: Dazzle's joking/fantasizing to Pizzaz and Chrysalis about finding Rad's poisoned and mutilated body floating in a river. Pizzaz and Chrysalis are both understandably horrified at Dazzle's casual attitude and vivid description, and his mouthing-off quickly comes back to haunt him when [[spoiler:he is wrongly sent to maximum security prison for the 'murder' of Rad.]]
** Jaxxon's sexual extortion of Pizzaz is PlayedForLaughs. Many viewers did not find it funny.

** Pizzaz, in the pilot episode, "Mall Hath No Fury". Compared to her softer, youthful look and personality throughout the rest of the season, she is both drawn and depicted as more angular and older. This also applies to both Dazzle and Rad, and to a slight extent, Chrysalis.
** It is likely that Pizzaz was originally intended to be openly hostile and antagonistic toward Dazzle through the entire show, but that the idea was changed during the writing of the rest of the season, as she is eventually revealed as being not only more of a team player with her officers' crazy ideas, but also both completely [[spoiler:in love with Dazzle]], and his primary [[spoiler:romantic/sexual partner]].
** The entire pilot itself. The depictions for Pizzaz (far more threatening), Dazzle (manic and hyperactive), and Rad (frightening and competent) are so off-the-mark compared to the rest of the episodes, that the pilot can almost be considered an alternate (and possibly more faithful) take on the 80s crime genre. The rest of the show rapidly evolves away from 80s parody, and into more of a SoapOpera-style WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes-soaked absurdist comedy series, with both 80s culture and police work being depicted almost as the background setting, and not as the primary focus of the protagonists' lives, or the show's plot.

* TheScrappy: Mayor Eo Jaxxon pissed off a lot viewers for his sexual extortion of Pizzaz in the fifth episode. What makes him even worse and less likable than Pizzaz's sisters or Rad's horrible parents is that, unlike them, there's nothing funny or interesting about him, being a creep who wants to exploit the Glitzotrene epidemic to make himself look good while lusting after Pizzaz despite how clearly uncomfortable she is. He's even ''thrilled'' when his son gets addicted because it gets him more sympathy points. The only reason he doesn't count as a HateSink is because his treatment of Pizzaz was supposed to be considered funny, as mentioned in DudeNotFunny above.

* OneEpisodeWonder: Pizzaz's sisters made "Lasers and Liars" one of the best episodes in the series because of how their presence shed light on Pizzaz's backstory, and because of how completely ridiculous and horrible they are. It helps that Panache was voiced by Creator/KateMcKinnon.

* OneSceneWonder: Pizzaz's sisters, who've only appeared in one episode so far, are exceptionally memorable because of how utterly horrible they are.
* TheScrappy: Mayor Eo Jaxxon pissed off a lot viewers for his sexual extortion of Pizzaz in the fifth episode.
