* DifficultySpike: Certain story missions taking place in the main overworld can be this, since if your vehicle gets destroyed, or you let your target get away, you can actually ''fail'' instead of simply respawning on the spot. Some of these missions are also on a time limit, too.

** In addition to the beautiful sound of collecting studs this game adds the little clicking sound that bricks make when you collect them, not to mention the sound of collecting a super brick.
** There's something enjoyable about the default ringtone of your Police Communicator.
** The jazzy guitar riff that plays when you find a collectible.

** An of course, there’s ‘Walking on Sunshine’ which plays in the opening. Does it count if it’s a preexisting, though?

** Speaking of sharks, there's what happens when Chase falls into water infested with sharks: one flipping leaps out of the water and devours him. It happens so quickly, it feels like it's coming out of bloody nowhere and you're only warning is that three note sting that sounds like it was right out of ''Jaws.''
