* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: The ''Code Bleu'' narrative is pretty unambiguous about how important hospitals are, how they should never be treated like any other business or focus on making money rather than curing patients. However, with the constant complaints about French hospitals being understaffed and undersupplied, it can't be understated.

The reference to Norman in this video is completely unrelated to the bad things Norman did.

** In the ''Harry Potter'' special, Cyprien, a famous French [=YouTuber=], plays the painting guarding the entrance of Nintendor's common room. When he asks Nintendor's prefect for the password, he says "I prefer Norman.", Norman being another famous French [=YouTuber=] who is friends with Cyprien. This line would feel awkward after Norman became controversial due to being accused of sexual harassment in 2018, and later in late 2020 after making racist remarks about Creator/LashanaLynch's role in the upcoming ''Film/JamesBond'' film, ''Film/NoTimeToDie'' during his show ''Le Spectacle de la Maturité''.

Most of the entries under Critical Research Failure aren't common knowledge a Frenchman with a high school's education level is supposed to have. The examples who have been left but commented out are stuff I actually don't know if they're common knowledge or not

** One video mentions THQ as being the makers of ''TabletopGame/{{Warhammer 40000}}'' (they made ''VideoGame/DawnOfWar'', not the parent verse). [=JdG=] was only talking about the video games here. (Not knowing there are maybe other ''40k'' video games than ''Dawn of War.'')
** In his ''VideoGame/BlackAndWhite'' review, he keeps calling the game "Black and White", despite the title of the video, the box of the game and clips from it showing he's talking about the ''second'' one.
** In "De la 2D à la 3D", he considers Amy Rose a modern character despite how her first appearance was in [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehogCD Sonic CD]], two years after [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog1 Sonic's own first game]].
** When he criticizes the bad voice quality in ''VideoGame/VirtualHydlide'', he says that [[UsefulNotes/NintendoEntertainmentSystem NES]] games had better audio, and then he shows a video clip of ''VideoGame/IkariWarriors II'' where a villain screams ''"You can't escape me!"'' except this clip is from the '''Arcade''' version. He later acknowledged this mistake in a commentary.
** When he reviews ''VideoGame/DrakeOfThe99Dragons'' in the UsefulNotes/{{Xbox}} episode, he says that the character design was done by Creator/BruceTimm. Timm had no involvement with the game: the creators just mimicked his style. Fred reiterates the mistake in "The Tier List of Crappy Games", pointing out "graphics made by Bruce Timm" were a good point of the game.
** In the "Mondo TV" episode, during the sequence reviewing ''Pocahontas: Princess of the American Indians'', he critizes the seemingly absurd character design of American Indian gods encountered by a character; while non-sensical by Western standards, those characters actually look like representations of Hopi deities (Fred even introduces the scene by mentioning the character ''is'' Hopi.).
** In the Papy Grenier about ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid'', he pokes fun at the fact Sniper Wolf calls herself Kurdish desping being a pale skinned, blue-eyed blonde. Some commenters irritatedly pointed out that blond Kurds are actually not that uncommon.
** In his 2000s cartoon special, he criticizes ''WesternAnimation/CodeLyoko'''s use of RecruitTeenagersWithAttitude by pointing out that realistically, the characters should stop playing with a dangerous supercomputer and just call responsible adults already to handle the whole thing. However, the reason the protagonists aren't doing this ''is'' addressed very early on in the show, and is in fact a major plot point- they are concerned adults would want to [[ShootTheDog shut down and dismantle the supercomputer right away with Aelita still on Lyoko, thus sacrificing her]], when they would rather find a way to save her first and ''then'' shut it down. This is especially jarring in that the footage he shows while raising this point is from ''the very episode where it was explained''.
** In the ''VideoGame/EccoTheDolphin'' episode, Fred depicts John C. Lilly, one of the inspirations of the game, as some sect guru who thinks Earth is controlled by an alien race called ECCO, took drugs and had sex with dolphins. Actually, he thinks that E.C.C.O. is a command center belonging to a greater ensemble controlled by [[CosmicEntity cosmic entities]]. And concerning his works about dolphins, he never had sex with them, the closest thing from a sexual intercourse with dolphins was [[https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/jun/08/the-dolphin-who-loved-me one of his coworkers who masturbated a male dolphin to relieve his urges]].
** In the review of ''Film/TheFifthElement'' videogame adaptation, Fred mocks the plot by pointing how unplausible a mere cab driver is to become an epic action hero. Korben isn't just a cab driver, he's actually a former elite commando who became a cab driver once retired, and he's tasked for the mission to retrieve the stones by the government, with the Gemini croquettes contest he "wins" being rigged to that end.
** For 6 years, he withheld a playthrough of the ''Marsupilami'' Sega Genesis video game with Wahwah (from [=BackintoysTV=]) because he realized he committed actual critical research failure by repeatedly calling the game an Infogrames title (it was developed by Apache Software). When he finally released the video, he and Wahwah did an intro explaining the context.

Created an actual Fridge page

* FridgeBrilliance: Archibald Von Grenier doesn't seem to make sense at first: he's obviously supposed to be from Germany (he has a German-sounding name, and Fred introduces him by stating he has been executed for helping the Nazis), yet he speaks with a British accent and is dressed like a British 19th century adventurer. This patchwork of backgrounds actually makes sense after the reveal at the end of his first episode: [[spoiler:he's the cover identity of an alien. As foreigners don't necessarily have accurate idea of foreign cultures and history, no wonder an alien's attempt to forge a cover identity on Earth turns into something unplausible.]]
* FridgeHorror: At the end of the ''VideoGame/StrandedDeep'' narrative let's play, he manages to find a small gyrocopter, make fuel for it from potatoes and determine his exact position [[GeniusBonus (the coordinates he gives are about 500km east of Florida, right in the Bermuda Triangle).]] He leaves his island, smiles to the audience and the series ends. A perfectly happy ending right? Except when you realize that, with how fast the gyrocopter's fuel meter is decreasing, he's not gonna reach Florida anytime soon.
