* Macekre: [=MoeNovel=]'s English translation is this to many in the visual novel community. In addition to the removal of H-content in order to appeal to a larger audience, they've been criticized for their clunky, literal English script, inconsistent additional censorship (some lecherous observations and jokes by the main character are left intact, while others are lazily altered), and for rewriting Ageha's route from the ground up, allegedly due to its story revolving around the H-scenes.

Dewicking Just For Pun

* MoralEventHorizon: While Tobioka can be seen as a WellIntentionedExtremist and manages to retain some sympathy in most routes, he goes flying over the line in Akari's route with his actions to sabotage the Soaring Club that involve confiscating the winch under false pretenses, lying to Akari about officially recognizing the club, threatening her position as student council president using her dating Aoi as an excuse to claim favoritism, interrupting the final takeoff at a time when one or more people could have gotten seriously injured, and revels in it to Akari's face!

A derisive reference to an interview statement made by [=MoeNovel=]'s producer regarding the removal of the novel's sexual content and an example of the kind of broader target audience they want to reach. Whenever someone questions or brings up something that was removed, someone else will mockingly bring up how the content doesn't appeal to said demographic.

Whenever someone questions or brings up something that was removed, someone else will mockingly bring up how the content doesn't appeal to said demographic. This has carried over somewhat into every visual novel they've released after this one, as they continue to release censored and edited versions of adult visual novels while refusing to release accompanying uncensored patches/versions.

* StoryBranchFavoritism: Could be seen as applying to Kotori and Amane's routes. Kotori gets the most romantically charged moments in the first part of the game before the route is chosen and she is the most prominent character in the movies that play between acts, getting actual animated movements. Amane's route on the other hand is the one that reveals the most of the story's mysteries

]] Both of these routes also get significant after-stories in FLIGHT DIARY as well while other routes get ignored in favor of new routes or, in the case of the Twin Route, a 10-minute slice-of-life story.

Renamed one trope; removed what is now Marty Stu, since this example falls under Flame Bait; see the Flame Bait page for more details.

* GaryStu: Although Aoi is both a Bishonen and a generally friendly character, his personality is fairly ordinary, and he's far from inspirational. Why characters like Akari and the entire female freshman class fall for him is never adequately explained.
* LesYay: Amane's relationship with Isuka. The two were extremely close, with Isuka being really seriously passionate about teaching Amane about love and beauty, and An-chan even says at one point that while he liked Isuka, there was no place for him since she was too caught up in Amane.

* HoYay: The game jokingly has some between Aoi and An-chan or Mabou. Aoi looks up to An-chan as an older brother and they're pretty close, and at one point Ageha jokingly asks if they're out on a date An-chan replies 'yes' and for a few moments she actually believes him. Also, Ma-bou occasionally acts like a tsundere towards Aoi, leading other characters to joke that he's another rival.
** More dramatically, Amane's relationship with Isuka. The two were extremely close, with Isuka being really seriously passionate about teaching Amane about love and beauty, and An-chan even says at one point that while he liked Isuka, there was no place for him since she was too caught up in Amane.

Moved to subpage.

* CrowningMomentOfFunny: On Kotori's route, when she turns down Miyata's confession, her reasoning is that her love is unrequited. One might think she's referring to Aoi, until it jumps to a chibi panel with her eyes sparkling as she says "...my love with the sky!" Even Aoi and Ageha have trouble stifling a laugh.
