** When people say who the most overpowered character is in the game, it's usually Vert. Great crowd control, fast attacks, fast recovery rate allowing players to stun lock bosses, attacks have a chance to stun enemies and with the number of hits she does, it might as well be at a 100% unless enemies are immune, can attack while dashing which results to heavy usage of dashing-dash attack-dashing to move really fast across the field, and a lot of HitboxDissonance on her attacks. In fact, transforming her as Green Heart makes her ''worse'' has her combos end in the air and has a long recovery time. Never be surprised when the best chance players have to get the LowLevelRun trophy for beating the BonusBoss is to use Vert with the second character being nothing more than a backup.

* LowLevelRun: The game has an accessory that locks playable characters levels to one, no matter how many experiences they gain. This is also a requirement for a trophy to beat the BonusBoss.

** Uni also qualifies. Unlimited combo by simply parking her at a corner, holding down the attack button (and not her actual combo, which is almost useless) and auto-aiming will simply slaughter all non-boss monsters in no time. Transforming her into Black Sister actually makes her ''worse'' with slower attacks and projectiles, and more importantly, the loss of the infinite shooting combo.
** A couple steps below Vert and Uni is Dengekiko, due to her sheer versatility and powerful aerial game.

* LowTierLetdown:
** Famitsu is too SP reliant for crowd control and combos only going straight forward. She has some air combos but Dengekiko does better.
** Noire is also here given many of her attacks don't cover as much area as it looks like they should, her chains often throw her right into enemy attacks, and the end of her combos often leave her open without even the chance to dash cancel. If Noire is a front-line fighter, don't expect her clothes to survive the mission.
