** Principal Isa became this after a few chapters in Book 2. While it can still be argued that she started out as a StrawmanHasAPoint regarding safety inside the school (justified since [[TheDitz Principal Hughs]] [[CloudCuckooLander had made pretty questionable calls]]), later chapters placed her in scrappy territory after she suspended Aiden unfairly, made pretty clear her favoritism for the basketball team (because she put her incompetent brother in charge) and the hall monitors, and is the direct cause of all the conflicts between the students.

** Morgan is considered the worst of the hall monitors, given that Caleb, Frank, and Autumn joined [[WideEyedIdealist having good intentions]]. Unlike them, Morgan agreed to be part of the monitors to reduce her suspension days and infractions for all the rules she broke, won't hesitate to betray her friends because each report gives her more credits with Isa, and won't stop bragging about her role in front of others. Jordan had to beg her to look away to stop her from bothering a clearly distraught Ms. Maddox.

* StrawmanHasAPoint: Despite Vice-Principal Isa being the typical DeanBitterman, she does have a point that Principal Hughs was too carefree as a Highschool director, overlooking at important issues like hallway security and discipline.

* HateSink: Brian Crandall in the Choices story. He's just an outright jerk who belittles and bullies everyone, steals his best friend's girlfriend ''and still expects Caleb to be cool with him''. He also blows the first football game of the season by refusing to pass to Caleb, then transfers to Hearst High.

* TheScrappy: Zoe. Not only is she unrepentant, treats Caleb like garbage and cheated with Brian, but later wanted to get back with Caleb ''while still dating Brian'', right before the game against Hearst.

!The Video Game

* HideYourLesbians: Mia is canonically not straight, but it's easy for an unattentive player to not notice this. She mentions her ex twice, but only uses the pronoun she ''once''. She also has quite a close relationship with Katherine (whom pixelberry introduces as Mia's [[LampshadedDoubleEntendre ''very special friend'']]) and [[spoiler: if a player put them together as a couple, they're acknowledged as such in the main story quest]], but their relationship ''could'' be seen as just a [[RomanticTwoGirlFriendship very close friendship]]. And even though there are several strong hints and [[DoubleEntendre double entendres]] about Mia not being very interested in boys, it's always done very subtle, and never mentioned outright.
** Most likely this is done so that players who have Mia paired with a boy won't feel bad, but they could've easily been clearer about her not being straight and just avoided mentioning what exactly her sexuality is.

* PortingDisaster: Not a ''disaster'' per se, but the Android version is noticeably buggier than the iOS. Thankfully, Pixelberry usually has a way to make amends for Android users.

* UncannyValley: Lea Michele's wide grin that ''never changes at all'' during her quests.

!The Visual Novel
* AndTheFandomRejoiced: Fitting for Pixelberry Studios celebrating Choices' First Anniversary, they not only made a novel adaptation of one of thed most popular games from the group, but ''the entire Book 1 was released in one day''. Many of the loyal Pixelberry fans quickly got excited about it and Book 2 was already on the way.

* TheScrappy: Zoe. Not only is she unrepentant, treats Caleb like garbage and cheated with Brian, but later wanted to get back at Caleb ''while still dating Brian''.

* TheScrappy: Autumn gets this treatment more than anyone else. It doesn't help that she’s [[DieForOurShip Wes’ ex-girlfriend]] and her character can be summed up as "she's nice and artistic and she likes everyone!"

* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: The humour, while never crass or dirty, tends to be of the ParentalBonus kind.
