Lightened somewhat later on when she at least realizes it, but other characters still constantly blame themselves for making her angry and not understanding her, which is what ''made'' her say such horrible things to them.

* JerkSue: Kyoko often falls into this, being increadibly attractive (though BeautifulAllAlong), smart, competent, able to use Kill Them All equipment with hardly any training [[spoiler: up to and including the NextTierPowerUp Jiro needed to go through TrainingFromHell for, and able to use it better than him no less,]] and being rather popular despite having a ''very'' abrasive personality. Lightened somewhat later on when she at least realizes it, but other characters still constantly blame themselves for making her angry and not understanding her, which is what ''made'' her say such horrible things to them.

* TearJerker: While there are a couple moments the one that takes the cake has got to be when [[spoiler: GenkiGirl Shizuka breaks down and cries because her [[VitriolicBestBuds friend]] is going to die]] made worst by the fact that, till that moment, she was something of a ComicRelief character and never seen without [[CatSmile some]] [[PsychoticSmirk form]] [[SlasherSmile of]] [[CheshireCatGrin a]] smile.

** Jiro also makes a potion that causes a person to fall in love with the first person he sees this is demonstrated by using it on Kimura who instantly falls for Midoritani.

** Akira Kurosawa is [[MistakenForGay accused]] of being a lesbian by Jiro who, thanks to [[MemeticMolester Kimure]], thinks she's trying to seduce Kyoko. While Akira states that she doesn't like girls ''that way'', she later says that she feels like she lost as she watches Kyoko and Jiro walk away. After that Kurosawas' and [[spoiler: Oogamis']] growing friendship is played just like everyone else's growing relationships.
