* TearJerker: While there are a couple moments the one that takes the cake has got to be when [[spoiler: GenkiGirl Shizuka breaks down and cries because her [[VitriolicBestBuds friend]] is going to die]] made worst by the fact that, till that moment, she was something of a PluckyComicRelief character and never seen without [[CatSmile some]] [[PsychoticSmirk form]] [[SlasherSmile of]] [[CheshireCatGrin a]] smile.

** Eiko too becomes AmbiguouslyGay after a couple reveals. The first being that [[spoiler: the [[SenpaiKohai sempai]] that Kyosato thinks so highly of and taught her all her [[DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnFemale bad]] habits was Eiko.]] The second is that after a drunken argument Eiko runs herself (and Jiro) ragged to find a job and prove herself to [[spoiler: Kyosato, who, herself, becomes bitterly depressed, its only after Kyosato apologises and tells Eiko that no matter what she'll aways love her, that Eiko calms down]]. Thirdly, during another drunken argument its revealed that Eiko has never confessed to a boy, but her proposal of friendship to [[spoiler: Kyostato]] sounds very much like one. The biggest reveal comes when Eiko reveals, in a blink and you miss it moment, that she and [[spoiler: Kyosato]] use to play the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konpa#King_game King Game]]... all the time... by themselves.

* JerkSue: Kyoko often falls into this. She is incredibly attractive (though an UnkemptBeauty most of the time) to the point that when she [[CleansUpNicely cleans up]], the entire male population of the school [[UnwantedHarem falls for her]] which she finds [[SoBeautifulItsACurse more annoying than anything]]. She is also very intelligent, enabling her to use [[{{KillThemAll}} lethal]] equipment with hardly any training [[spoiler: up to and including the NextTierPowerUp Jiro needed to go through TrainingFromHell for, and able to use it better than him no less,]] and rather popular on top of it all despite having a ''very'' abrasive personality. Lightened somewhat later on when she at least realizes it, but other characters still constantly blame themselves for making her angry and not understanding her, which is ''why'' she said such horrible things to them.

* NightmareFuel: the Allies of Justice (at least to the Evil Organizations). Superior scientists, superior funding, superior weaponry, able to commit heinous massacres in the name of [[{{KnightTemplar}} "Justice"]], ruthlessly efficient, and [[{{GameBreaker}} overpowered]] to the point that every evil organization in a region must team up to defeat just one. Their suits transform and give them superpowers! Surely, they haunt the dreams of supervillains everywhere.
