* Sequelitis: Averted; this game has been better-received than its companion game, VideoGame/EpicMickey2ThePowerOfTwo, and is on par with the first game in terms of reception. That said, there's still a lot of room for improvement.

* Sequelitis: Averted; this game has been better-received than SurprisinglyImprovedSequel: When viewed as the "follow-up" to its companion game, game VideoGame/EpicMickey2ThePowerOfTwo, this was far better received, and is on par with the first game in terms of reception. That said, there's still a lot of room for improvement.

* HarsherInHindsight: The game's premise of Mizrabel being in Wasteland becomes sadly more relevant after the remake of VideoGame/CastleOfIllusion was delisted because of Sega's contract ending.

* ItsShortSoItSucks: A common complaint about this game, having only three boss fights. The cover art indicates that a boss fight against Ursula and a fourth level (the North Wing of the castle) based around Wonderland were planned but never ended up being utilized.

The game did not do this.

* ThatOneLevel: You'll have a lot of fun until you reach Under The Sea in the third world. Not only is the level under the sea, but also has GoddamnedBats and DemonicSpiders; combine that with the underwater floaty jumps that screw up your timing and you get one hell of a warzone.

This is both Natter and untrue, as Gaston has been the Final Boss of a couple of Beauty And The Beast Licensed Games.

She never takes any of these forms during any of her boss fights. Particularly notable in that Gaston has rarely ever appeared as a boss in a Disney adaptation game, despite many fans wanting to see him as one.

** Though these wouldn't be so bad if the game either saved after a rescuing a character and collecting quest items that appear in the levels or at least had a midway point marker that saved your progress at least, rather than only saving after clearing long screens, it's really bad for those who want to hundred percent the game, because should you die after collecting a quest item or saving a character but have yet to get to the next screen you'll have to go back to where you found them and collect/save them again, and as stated above this especially bad during the Under the Sea part of the game.
