This was even taken UpToEleven in the summer movie, where his friends just had a bit of dirt on them after being ''kidnapped and hit with lightning'', while he was bloodied up extremely badly. And if it wasn't that, he was experiencing some sort of serious mental trauma, like watching his team die in front of him. This has lead to some jokes about how the make-up department or someone on the writing team must've had a fetish for seeing the actor in pain or bloodied up.
