Per TRS, this is YMMV

Added DiffLines:

* CameraScrew: Boss fights and jumping puzzles would be a lot easier if the camera controls didn't jerk your POV and controls around wildly at the slightest provocation in a heroic attempt to keep the view over your character's shoulder.

Dork Age was renamed

* AudienceAlienatingEra: While accusing ''Dawn'' of being an outright FranchiseKiller can be a little suspect (given that titles were still released after it), it is almost universally agreed that ''Dawn'' spearheaded a decline in game quality for the franchise as a whole, and one that Square-Enix has struggled to overcome ever since.

The main trope now is Status Effects

* AnnoyingVideoGameHelper: The FairyCompanion that casts magic for you and asks "are you okay?" every single time you recover from StandardStatusAilments.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The soundtrack is the best part of the game and really the only thing people remember fondly about it. That and the graphics are some of the best out there at the time of it's release.

* {{Sequelitis}}: Despite its gorgeous graphics and a stellar soundtrack, this game is considered the worst entry in the ''[[VideoGame/WorldOfMana Mana series]]'' due to its repetitive gameplay, bad camera angles and terrible level up system.

Aside from the fact that this isn't in Trivia, there were several Mana games after Dawn. Maybe not mainline series games, but games nonetheless. The fact that the franchise has received a collection and a remake of Secret also disproves this example.

* {{Franchise Killer}}: Dawn of Mana effectively killed off the World of Mana series with frustrating and nonsensical gameplay and a level system that reset whenever you started a new chapter, which meant repeated LevelGrinding every chapter.
