Can this still go on YMMV pages even though it's now in Darth Wiki? AFAIK no other Darth Wiki page can be listed on YMMV pages.

Can someone for the love of God expand this trope to Anime and Western Animation. There are grating character voices that need to be listed. Why should it only apply to video games?

Most people consider a baby bawling to be annoying (when it's not your baby, or when it's your baby in the middle of the night), and the image is designed to evoke that. Problem is that it's not the trope. I'll start an Image Pickin'' thread about it at some point.
Even not knowing the subject matter, it's clearly from media, and a baby yelling. Given the HUGE mouth it seems like it'd be loud and thus better than JAFAAC.
I mean, not perfect, but it's definitely reasonable so far.

Does anyone think that the game creators make the playable character silent just to avoid this trope?
Ok, it's pretty clear from this discussion page that a lot of us are really tired with this whole "Game and toy examples only" thing that's been added. Someone either give us a reason for it, or revert it back. No substitutes.

I don't know. But it's a crime against nature for it not to be able to list the Vuvusela on the list.
I think this page should be reformatted/trope restricted to only the MOST GLARING examples, since, because it expressely forbids the Vuvusela, it cannot live up to the trope name.
I seriously think we need to restrict the number of sounds allowed to be classified as "Most Annoying" to only one or two examples for each entry, unless the game is notable for its horrid sound files. The amount of whining about SSBB's soundfiles(Many of which are more fittingly classified as Most Wonderful Sound instead) makes Furries seem stoic in comparison.
And why is there a movie and a teevee quote on a page that doesn't allow either? Especially when one of them is the frickin' Trope Namer?

What the hell is with the Super Smash Brothers entry's bloatation? While this trope is supposed to be subjective to a degree, it seems every sound in that game is considered THE MOST ANNOYING!

I have to agree on this one. Apparently, "Falconnn PUNCH!" is one of the most annoying sounds in the world.
Just based on a quick skim, I also have to contest some of the Sonic entries — I get the feeling some editors have conflated "sound or phrase that repeats and can get a little irritating" with "STOP SAYING THAT IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS".
Who the hell deleted all the non-video game examples, and how much do I have to pay to have them assassinated? With nothing but a pair of headphones and some paper?

If this is the polar opposite of Most Wonderful Sound, how come this isn't a YMMV or even a Flame Bait trope while the latter is a YMMV trope?
