** Bane as a sumo wrestler. He looks ridiculous, but its so over the top its likable.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The idea of the Joker [[spoiler: hypnotizing himself sane so that he could fool Batman]] could make a pretty interesting story-line all in itself.

* WhatDoYouMeanItWasn'tMadeOnDrugs: This movie takes place in feudal Japan, and involves Joker as a daimyo with combat skills equal to Batman's, Bane as a sumo wrestler, a re-purposed Arkham Asylum converted into one of several mobile mechanized castles that all combine into a gigantic battle robot, a magic flute that can command millions of monkeys to work together like a colony of ants to build a large humanoid gestalt form, a nearly endless swarm of bats that combine with the aforementioned monkeys to build an even larger (and indestructible, or at least flame-proof) giant Batman . . . [ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and a cheerful and playful Damian Wayne who loves his pet monkey.] If the producers weren't on drugs, maybe they ''should'' have been, so the end result might have come out a little more sane!

* LoveItOrHateIt: A good section of ''Batman'' fans were expecting another serious piece to add in the Dark Knight mythos and hated the movie for how over the top it when and how it handled the climax. Fans of anime, however, enjoyed the movie for how it didn't take itself to seriously and the inventive ways of handling the characters.

** Damien using a magic flute to summon armored monkeys? Alright, I can deal with it. The monkeys standing on each other shoulders to form a giant robot monkey? This is getting silly. Bats join forces with the monkey to form a giant batman? Check please!

* JustHereForGodzilla: There are some people who only want to watch this solely for the fact that all four Robins are appearing at the same time and for the first time in an animated movie.

* FunnyMoments: Catwoman teases Grodd about eating a banana, calling it 'rather cliche.' Grodd's response is brilliant.

* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: ''Batman Ninja'' is already shaping up to be a very good looking movie, especially with the SceneryPorn.

* CrazyAwesome: Practically CrazyAwesome ''TheMovie''. The finale sees [[spoiler:Batman controlling a giant Batman ''made'' of bats fighting a CombiningMecha piloted by Joker and several of his RoguesGallery. And that's not even the ''FinalBattle''.]]

** Other than ''Animation/BatmanUnderTheRedHood'', Jason Todd has always been ignored or turned into a PosthumousCharacter by animated adaptations of the Batman Mythos, making his addition to the main cast a pleasant surprise.

Only for Batman to stop him and claim it can't be them since he can't sense any murderous intent in any of them, and Red Hood was just his normal impulsive self and should learn to not judge people by appearance. But since the very next scene reveal that it [[spoiler: really was Joker and Harley]], Red Hood was the one who was right all along.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: None of the vilans besides The Joker, Harley and Grodd get that many lines and are pretty much interchangeable.

* {{Woolseyism}}: A non intentional example. Due to time constraints, the dub team had to work entirely from a heavily summarized and poorly translated version of the script, meaning a lot of the dub was essentially brand new dialogue, written entirely based on the animation. Most fans agree that they did a pretty good job though.
