In 2023, Jimmy betrayed Jey at ''Wrestling/SummerSlam'' during his match against Wrestling/RomanReigns, leading the two to split off from each other, with Jey transferring to ''RAW'' while Jimmy remained on ''[=SmackDown=]'', marking the end of their tag team run for the time being.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: The ''Smackdown'' after ''[=SummerSlam=]'' 2023 has Jey quitting everything after he learns why Jimmy betrayed him in his match against Roman Reigns, quitting the Usos, Bloodline, Smackdown, and WWE as he becomes tired of this bullshit.

** At ''Wrestling/SummerSlam'' 2023, Jimmy turned on his brother Jey, turning him heel once again in the process.

** At ''Wrestling/SummerSlam'' 2023, Jimmy turned on his brother Jey and sided with Roman Reigns, turning him heel once again in the process.

* RedOniBlueOni: With Jey having been forced to run with Roman for the better part of a year while Jimmy was out injured, The Usos have become differentiated by developing into this. Jey's personality has been molded into more or less that of an attack dog slavishly loyal to his family, while Jimmy has had time to observe the situation and think through his decisions, his fealty and principles clashing as a result. This caused Jimmy to take issue with the way Roman has been doing business, a weeks-long argument that sent Jey ping-ponging into a VillainousBreakdown before Roman finally started to {{gaslight|ing}} Jimmy and convince him to be on board. Even after rejoining The Bloodline and partaking in Roman's villainous acts, Jimmy maintains a more earnest demeanor while Jey continues acting as a bloodhound.

** As members of the Bloodline, one of the Usos would begin by saying the name of the city they're in, followed with "The Bloodline is now in your city!"

** During their run as part of the Bloodline, they began using 1D - the former Dudley Death Drop.

* WhamLine: "Listen to me! Listen to me! Listen to me Uce! I'm doin', what you shoulda done, a long time ago! I gotchu!"
** "So guess what!? YOU OUT! ...and I'm out too!"

** After enduring over two years of abuse and mistreatment at the hands of their cousin, The Usos finally turned on Roman and severed ties with The Bloodline by June 2023. Jimmy turned on Roman at ''Night of Champions 2023'' by costing him and Solo Sikoa their tag team title match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, with Jey following suit on the 6/17/23 edition of ''[=SmackDown=] after superkicking Roman in the face.

* HeelFaceTurn: On the October 10, 2017 episode of ''[=SmackDown Live=]'', The Usos called out The New Day and offered a truce, and explained how the two teams were the top on the show and claimed that they had respect for The New Day, turning into faces, for the first time since September 2016. Although newly reformed faces, The Usos continued to use their heel theme and attire. The Usos cemented their face turn when they attempted to shake Benjamin and Gable's hand during a backstage segment, whereas Benjamin and Gable [[FaceHeelDoubleTurn refused]].

* CoDragons: To Roman during his "Tribal Chief" gimmick.

* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: 2023's ''Night of Champions'' was a '''[[BestServedCold long]]''' time coming. Wrestling/RomanReigns had spent the better part of 3+ years treating The Usos like garbage, with Jimmy and especially Jey reluctant to defy him for fear of being disowned by their family and discarded from The Island of Relevancy. When Reigns' bullying finally pushed Jimmy over the edge, he pulled the trigger on a pair of Superkicks on Roman's chin that cost him his tag-team championship match, and Jey was torn, but ultimately (and reluctantly) left the event at Jimmy's side.

* TheAce: As a unit. Since their breakout around 2015, commentators in WWE often touted them as one of the most talented tag teams either on the roster at the time, or of the last X number of years. In 2019 and onward, they were praised by varying sources as one of the best tag teams ''in WWE history.'' They were also named the Tag Team of the Year at the annual Slammy Awards in 2014 and 2015, [[https://www.cbssports.com/wwe/news/the-man-comes-around-becky-lynch-breaks-out-for-wwe-as-the-2018-wrestler-of-the-year/ CBS' Tag Team of the Year]] in 2018, and Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 2014 Tag Team of the Year.

* BestServedCold: After 3 years of being mistreated by Wrestling/RomanReigns as members of the Bloodline, The Usos finally got their retribution at ''Night of Champions'' 2023 by superkicking the Tribal Chief, thereby allowing Wrestling/KevinOwens and Wrestling/SamiZayn to retain their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against him and Solo Sikoa.

* BigBrotherInstinct: Jimmy is technically the older of the two (by 9 minutes), and throughout Roman Reigns' transformation into the tyrannical Tribal Chief, he was always the one attempting to protect Jey from Roman. At ''Night of Champions'' 2023, seeing Reigns bully his little brother is what drove Jimmy to superkick the taste out of Roman's mouth. ''Twice.''

* StockholmSyndrome: After their cousin, Roman Reigns, turned heel in 2020 and allied with Paul Heyman, both Jimmy and Jey were initially appalled by his change in behavior. However, both brothers eventually turned heel after Roman beat the shit out of Jey and guilt tripped Jimmy into helping him. Following this, they become fully loyal to Roman as part of the Bloodline... until 2023's ''Night of Champions'', [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal where Jimmy finally stood up to Roman]].
