However, after Danielson started to assault and main other wrestlers alongside the Wrestling/BlackpoolCombatClub, Takeshita went against Danielson, leading their friendship to fall apart. However, Takeshita returned to being on good terms with Danielson after Takeshita himself made a FaceHeelTurn during ''Double or Nothing 2023''.
