* UnnecessaryCombatRoll: Becky does a lot of rolls to reposition herself around the ring. Where most wrestlers would run the ropes Becky instead just does a forward somersault. Justified somewhat by her being a tactically-minded grappler that wants to avoid superfluous movement.

* MoralityPet: Was retroactively was one for PCB as a whole until they both turned heel. Paige is an aloof loner and Charlotte has the Flair arrogance and swagger, but Becky was always portrayed as a pure babyface who just wants to hang out with her friends and kick ass. In fact the breakup only got bad when Paige insulted Becky and Charlotte was noticeably far more animated in defense of her than she was in defense of her title win, which was "the most important win of her career". Sadly, fans' growing resentment of Charlotte for being the initial star of the "revolution" due to Flair's influence and for Becky ostensibly acting as her sidekick ended up ruining that.

Starting out in November 2002 after five months of training in Wrestling/FergalDevitt and Paul Tracey's then-newly opened wrestling school, she began working in Ireland as '''Rebecca Knox'''. Initially she worked in Ireland alongside her brother in mixed tag team matches, but eventually went on to carve her own name, competing throughout Europe and even traveling across the Atlantic to wrestle in the United States. She became the first ever [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/canada/bc/eccw/eccw-wm.html ECCW SuperGirls Champion]] in Canada in 2005 as well as a one-time Queens of Chaos Champion in France in 2006. Unfortunately, in 2006 she also suffered a cut above her eye in a match in Germany which would have severe repercussions to the point of cutting her career short, canceling most bookings and eventually leaving wrestling in 2008.

Rebecca "Becky" Quin (born 30 January 1987) is an Irish professional wrestler known primarily by two surnames—those of the only two ring names she's used in her wrestling career.

In 2011 she would get back in the game as a manager for former rival Sweet Saraya and her daughter [[Wrestling/{{Paige}} Britani Knight]] in Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}}. She would get back in the ring herself a year later in 2012, and in 2013 she signed with WWE and became '''Becky Lynch'''. Her initial happy-go-lucky [[{{Oireland}} Irish-jigging]] babyface gimmick was not well-received, leading to a retool into a rocker persona that was less stereotypical and truer to herself, as well as a FaceHeelTurn in which she slowly ascended from a sidekick to a legitimate contender in the NXT Women's division. Ironically, her rise through the ranks led to a face turn for the retooled character which saw her compete epically for the Women's title and eventually make her way to the main roster as part of a team including her longtime friend Paige.

You can read up more about Becky's career on [[Wiki/{{Wikipedia}} The Other Wiki]] [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Becky_Lynch here]].

-----
!!!"I'm Becky Tropin' Lynch! That's who I think I am!":

* AbortedArc: Was supposed to finish a rivalry with Wrestling/DaizeeHaze with a 60-minute Iron Woman match in SHIMMER before going down to a [[GameBreakingInjury career-threatening injury]] in Germany.
* ArcWelding: The episode of NXT that aired after ''Unstoppable'', in which Becky left as a firm fan favourite, featured a video package that tied her initial appearances that played into the {{Oireland}} stereotypes into her retooling into her more commonly known rocker gimmick — namely the retooling was Becky simply acting like herself, instead like a stereotype.
* ArchEnemy: Wrestling/{{Bayley}} in [[Wrestling/{{WWENXT}} NXT]]. Wrestling/SashaBanks is somewhat becoming this as well ever since Becky ended their alliance.
* TheArtifact: An Irish last name like Lynch fit when she was doing her Oireland gimmick. Now, though, it doesn't really seem to match that of a moshpit (or steampunk) girl.
* BetaBitch: To Wrestling/SashaBanks after her NXT heel turn. The sad part is she seemed to believe that it was going to help her advance herself, but she really had just been a glorified hanger-on. Subverted as she ended up making sure that it did help her advance herself, whether Sasha liked it or not.
* BitchInSheepsClothing:
** Completely pulled a fast one on Allison Danger the night she first competed in SHIMMER.
** Came to Wrestling/{{Bayley}}'s aid…and attacked her a few seconds later.
* CoolTeacher: Learned to wrestle as a teenager at a small wrestling school in Ireland founded in part by a young Wrestling/FergalDevitt.
* CharacterisationMarchesOn: The Oireland thing was gradually phased out into a background element of her character within a few weeks.
* CompositeCharacter: In her face debut on NXT, she had elements of Wrestling/SashaBanks and Charlotte when they were first faces: Like Sasha, she was a face who lost a lot of matches, got corrupted by a heel who used the loss record as a lever, and turned heel by attacking an unsuspecting person after a match. And like Charlotte, she was friends with Wrestling/{{Bayley}}, got an offer from the [=BFFs=] (well, former BFF in Becky's case), and attacked Bayley as her way of joining them.
* ContinuityNod:
** Perhaps enforced by real life, as despite dropping the {{Oireland}} gimmick her legitimate Irish heritage is still subtly referenced. Namely, she's kept the red hair, still incorporated some form of green into her attire at first, and eventually got a theme song called "Celtic Invasion".
** Considering how many times Becky has said hers and Wrestling/SashaBanks' association was an alliance, not a friendship, Sasha should've seen coming that she would go Starscream as soon as she got opportunities to win the Women's title for herself.
** Becky would state in a showcase vignette on ''Wrestling/WWESmackDown'' that she aligned with Paige upon being called to the main roster because she's known her since the latter was 13 years old. This is a CallBack to their past history together prior to WWE. For a clue on that, see PuttingTheBandBackTogether.
* ContraltoOfDanger: Her voice is deeper than some ''men's'' voices.
* CoolShades: Her new {{steampunk}} ensemble attire comes complete with cool goggles.
* EarlyBirdCameo: She'd been appearing regularly on NXT as one of Adam Rose's Rosebuds for months before her debut.
* ExpositoryHairstyleChange: Appeared at ''NXT Takeover: Unstoppable'' for her Women's title match with bright orange hair.
* FaceHeelTurn:
** Her SHIMMER debut saw her go from a polite, hand shaking, friendly babyface to an obnoxious, arrogant cheater all in the course of one match.
** On NXT Wrestling/SashaBanks convinced her to turn heel, which Becky did by attacking Wrestling/{{Bayley}} after seemingly coming to her aid.
* FieryRedhead: Though it is dyed to emphasize her nationality (she's naturally blonde).
* FightingIrish: She even did an Irish jig when she first arrived in NXT.
* FinishingMove: A ''nasty'' looking Fujiwara Armbar which involves Becky sitting on the opponent's back and pulling the arm in between her legs. After her match with Wrestling/SashaBanks she gave it a name—the Discoostin Armbar, later tweaked to Dis-arm-her.
* ForeignWrestlingHeel: Particularly on the indies.
* HeelFaceTurn: Becky won over the NXT crowd after her gutsy performance against Wrestling/SashaBanks in ''NXT Takeover: Unstoppable'', and they've been crazy for her ever since.
* GameBreakingInjury: In 2006, during a match she worked for German Stampede Wrestling, Knox suffered a cut above her eye that had to get stitched up, which later resulted in headaches, vision problems, loud buzzing in her left ear, and possible damage to her eighth cranial nerve. She ended up canceling or no-showing nearly all her bookings for the next year and a half before openly admitting that she didn't feel like wrestling was a proper career choice for her anymore. She wouldn't return to the squared circle until 2011 as the manager for the Knight Dynasty, and even then it was another year before she actually wrestled again.
* GenkiGirl: Especially when letting out her rocker side, particularly seen in SHIMMER as the Knight Dynasty's manager and in WWE since her gimmick change on NXT.
* InformedAttribute: Her 'rock chick' gimmick involves headbanging, throwing up the horns, flannel, and not much else. Justified in that unlike the {{Oireland}} act, she's not out to be a complete stereotype with this.
* JerkassHasAPoint: She explained in a backstage interview that Wrestling/SashaBanks was right: being a face who's over with the fans wasn't actually stopping her from losing all the time. Given that since she turned heel, she's been winning a lot more, it's hard not to see her point. Ironically, she ended up once again becoming a face who's over with the fans ''because of how true she was to her new attitude and how far it took her as a result''.
* KickTheDog: The Knight Dynasty and Rebecca Knox beat little Leva Bates unconscious in between matches on SHIMMER volume 39.
* {{Oireland}}: Hmm, red hair? Check. Lots of green? Check. Ceili music? Check, it's her entrance theme. Jig? You bet that's a check. Averted when she was retooled into a rocker, wearing flannel. All that remained was the red hair.
* PowerTrio: With Wrestling/{{Paige}} and Charlotte. First generically called "Team Paige" after the team's main roster veteran, their first attempt at a real name was the "Submission Sorority"—only for it to be called out on its stiff wordiness and coincidental porn connections enough to be changed to "PCB" after each woman's first letter.
* PungeonMaster: Follow her on Twitter. You have been warned.
* PuttingTheBandBackTogether: Rebecca returned to wrestling in 2011 as the manager of the Knight Dynasty (aka Saraya and Britani Knight, the latter of whom is now known as Wrestling/{{Paige}}). Since Becky debuted on NXT, many fans were calling for her and Paige to team up. This would finally come to fruition upon Becky's call-up to the main roster, as she and Charlotte joined Team Paige in the three-way war for control and change in the Divas divison.
* RedBaron: K-Nox, The Lass Kicker.
* RetiredBadass: From 2008-2012.
* ScreamingWarrior: Could be this at a higher pitch.
* {{The Smart G|uy}}irl: Wins a good deal of her matches with cunning and trickery rather than brute force or fighting spirit. She's also more technically adroit and more prone to using suplexes and submissions supported by extended limb work, which are traditional in wrestling as "smart" strategies.
* SpiritualSuccessor: She's already drawing Wrestling/{{Lita}} comparisons.
* TheStarscream: Went from Sasha's lackey to Sasha's rival.
* {{Steampunk}}: Switched to a Steampunk-inspired wardrobe & titantron at ''Unstoppable'', complete with goggles in her entrance.
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: She and Sasha Banks were not friends. She said so repeatedly. {{Suberted|Trope}}, as she wasn't lying.
* TheDogBitesBack: Becky turns on Sasha at "Rival" after the latter bosses her one too many times.
* VillainTeamUp: With Sasha Banks, all the while warning that they weren't friends and eventually making moves on the title herself much to Sasha's chagrin.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With Wrestling/{{Bayley}}.
* WoundedGazelleGambit: Rebbecca Knox pulled one on Allison Danger that likely made fellow Irishman Finlay proud.
* YesMan: Was this to Sweet Saraya Knight as her and Britani's manager due to being deathly afraid of her.
* YouLookFamiliar: Formerly known as Rebecca Knox in Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}}.
