full grammar edit, added a couple more tropes

The Coyote is trudging around an open road when he hears some buzzing. Snatching up and eating the source of the buzzing, he continues his pacing. Then he notices a tincan in the middle of the road, rummages around inside, and finally chews on it like a cartoon goat. He is still chewing when he gets knocked into the air by the Road Runner.

Watching the Road Runner put on his usual burst of speed for the getaway, the Coyote feels his eyes fall out of his sockets. Putting them back in and laying down on the road, he ponders his next play.

Between a lanyard on a boulder, a lasso on the road, an open-road PitTrap covered by a tarpaulin, a pop-up grate with a crank, a ChaseScene on train tracks, a dynamite stack in a culvert, a motorcycle, a birdseed stop on a bridge (if you can believe it, his ''only'' date with gravity in the whole cartoon), and some – get this – '''Leg Muscle Vitamins''' ''(triple strength fortified, even),'' the Coyote continues to go nowhere in his pursuits.

** On CBS, the end card where the Roadrunner spells out "That's All Folks!" in dust was cut (very much like the original opening cards and credits, any ending cards—particularly those that serve as the final gag in the cartoon and aren't separated by an iris-out—were edited on network TV airings for time reasons).
** The Nickelodeon version leaves in what ABC and CBS cut, but edits the sequence during the cartoon's climax where Wile E. Coyote ingests "Acme Triple-Strength Leg Muscle Vitamins" to remove the close-up shot of the box (yet the part where Wile E. gulps down the entire box was left in. Contrast this with the aspirin scene from "WesternAnimation/BeepBeep" or the earthquake pill sequence from "WesternAnimation/HopalongCasualty" where the actual act of pill ingestion was cut on Nickelodeon).
