* BookEnds: This show forms one half of a pair for the Fox Kids block. One of the first shows produced for the block was ''WesternAnimation/PiggsburgPigs'', another show about a city of anthropomorphic pigs, while ''Pig City'' would wind up being one of the last to be made for the block before it went defunct in 2002, though it would only actually ''air'' on the block in Europe. Also, prolific Canadian voice actor Creator/JohnStocker lent his voice to both shows.

Actually, since both shows were PRODUCED by Fox Kids, this trope works with some rewording.

Taking a second look, that video is from a european market, so while it did air on A Fox Kids block, it was not the US one, so not exactly a bookend.

Pig City-despite being co-financed by Fox Kids-never aired on either the block or it's spin off Fox Family Channel. ABC Family also did not take the show after buying the latter, due to reformatting the kids' portion as an all-action block.
