Aside from animation, Creator/DarkHorseComics published a {{Crossover}} ComicBook ''Dethklok versus ComicBook/TheGoon'' in 2009 and a ''Dethklok'' series from October 2010 to February 2011. The series also received four albums, with the first three dedicated to music from the first four seasons and the fourth dedicated to ''The Doomstar Requiem''. A fifth album, which will feature music from the movie, will also be released.

** When Murderface considers a career in politics, Toki ''[[SoundEffectBleep *pinch harmonic*]]''s up and releases a whole series of pictures showing Murderface jerking off to the media, thus ending Murderface's political career before it even begins.

* RichInDollarsPoorInSense: Hoo boy. This was evident from the very first episode where they struggled to understand the concept of "grocery shopping", but it really hit the fan in the season 3 premiere, where, without Offdensen to manage them, they blow all their money on things like a giant Dorito-themed amusement park (not open to the public) and "the Super Tits Candy Snake Project", which was never completed or defined.

* RidiculousFutureInflation: {{Inverted}} in "Crush The Industry" whereas it's about destroying all the worthless cash in an economic recession.

* AllGuitarsAreStratocasters: Zigzagged. On the one hand, Skwisgaar only plays Gibson Explorers and Toki only plays Gibson Flying V's. On the other hand, every other "regular jack-off" in the show uses a variety of more common models like Stratocasters, Les Pauls and SG's. Note that Dethklok isn't ''completely'' immune to this trope: it's specifically noted that Pickles used a Gibson Les Paul in his Snakes 'n' Barrels days, and a DVD extra reveals [[spoiler: Offdensen]] owns a mint condition '59 Les Paul. Then again, the show is sponsored by multiple companies producing guitar-gear, and Brendon Small is a guitarist, so if they just used mainstream gear instead of gear designed for Metal, it would be anywhere near as satisfying.

You actually can put bleach in a urine sample to kill traces of many drugs, but you'll end up failing it anyway because doctors and lab technicians can tell if someone has put bleach in it, and it goes without saying that DRINKING IT (like Pickles originally suggested) will kill you.

* DorkAge: InUniverse example -- as of Season Three, Dethklok seems to have entered theirs, facing more accusations of being sell-outs, losing their edge, and so on.
** After seeing their ad for Pentuplemint Gum, even Nathan is forced to admit that it is absolutely irredeemable as anything but selling out.

* RemovingTheCrucialTeamMember: The band gets sick of Murderface's shitty attitude and performance and fire him. Without him, Dethklok becomes far more productive, but realize they can't make properly angry-sounding death metal without Murderface's negative energy, and they have to invite him to return.

* CycleOfRevenge: The theme for "Murmaider". It's about mermaids killing humanoid sea crabs, which led to their queen to take revenge after a school of mermaids except for one child. The mermaid grows up and prepares to kill the queen [[spoiler: Unfortunately, the mermaid gets hacked to pieces before she can deal the final blow. ''The Water God'' reveals she survived and her attempt made her a legend. She accepted a DealWithTheDevil, becoming the Water God[[note]] It's possible that she's the one featured on the cover for Dethalbum II[[/note]] and killing everything to make her own empire causing the other gods to hunt her down.]]

** In "Dethwater", the 2nd episode of the 1st season, Toki comments that the the recording "picks up the whales saying hello". Fast forward to season 4, where [[spoiler:the whales on the recording actually become a plot point]]!

* KarmaHoudini: Dr. Rockzo in "Dethmas". He breaks parole, steals Toki's Christmas gifts for coke money, ruins Murderface's Christmas special, gets a handjob from Skwisgaar's mom, and escapes a well-deserved Pissed!Toki beatdown due to a freak accident.
