''Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart'' is an animated adventure comedy from Creator/CartoonNetwork and Creator/{{Titmouse}}, created by Parker Simmons, a former storyboard artist for ''WesternAnimation/OKKOLetsBeHeroes''. It was announced on May 20, 2019, alongside a full-series pickup for ''WesternAnimation/AppleAndOnion'', the second season of ''WesternAnimation/SummerCampIsland'', and ''Tig N' Seek'', coming in 2020. In addition, the pilot episode was posted on the Cartoon Network app that same day.

The series will follow Sheriff Mao Mao, the explosive loner and famous hero; Badgerclops, the lovable oaf; and Adorabat, the adorable sidekick; who work together to bring justice and peace to the people of the valley.

Leading into the premiere, eight new episodes will become available on the app on Friday, June 28. The series will make its official debut Monday, July 1 (6:10PM ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with new episodes continuing to premiere Mondays through summer.
