Adult Fear is now a disambig.

* AdultFear:
** Your married child and their family moving far away and leaving you with an empty nest. This is Drac's primary motivation.
** Mavis' motivation is believing that her childhood home might not be safe for her child, much like parents who worry about their houses not being baby-proofed.
** Though your parents have tried to overcome their prejudices, they still don't fully accept your child due to not carrying on the family's traits or traditions. Mavis suffers from this when Dracula is disappointed by Dennis not being a vampire. While Dracula does overcome this disappointment, he faces this fear himself when his own father comes to meet Dennis.
** Watching your friend do unsafe things with their grandchildren, not feeling able to intervene because it's not your child. Drac means no harm, but his friends are understandably concerned with the danger he puts Dennis into when trying to force vampiric traits out of him, particularly when he throws him off of a dangerously high tower to make him fly -- Drac himself eventually comes to his senses and flies down to catch Dennis just before he hits the ground.

Mavis and Jonathan are happily married and have a son, Dennis, who isn't showing any vampire traits. Mavis thinks the castle isn't safe for Dennis, so she visits Jonathan's home in California to see if that's a good place to relocate. Meanwhile, fearing he'll lose his daughter and grandson, Dracula tries to push Dennis to show signs of being a vampire so Mavis will change her mind, constantly rejecting advice to turn to his own father Vlad (voiced by Creator/MelBrooks), a classic count from the old guard who coached Dracula in the ways of the vampire through force. For Dennis' 5th birthday, Mavis likewise invites Vlad without telling Dracula, who also brings a truly threatening plus-one.
