* PersonalityPowers: While it's easier for players to learn the Flux of their home planet, they can also learn to use a different Flux, though most examples we've seen have been Akilians using the Smog. In season 3, Aarch notes that an angry player ([[spoiler: specifically Mei]]) can call upon the Smog unconsciously. When [[spoiler: Yuki trains to learn the Wave]], an Elektras player relates that their home planet had no Flux until they managed to awaken the Wave with their willpower. Using a Flux seems to require an attachment to its home planet, as [[spoiler: Lun-Zia failed to learn the Breath, but was also quite happy to join the Wambas]].

* PhlebotinumOverdose: Aarch began sick from over-using the Smog in the backstory. Sinedd showed hints of it in season 2. In season 3, Mei [[spoiler: left the Shadows because training to use the Smog was too hard for her]]. It's not just the Smog, either, since [[spoiler: Dame Simbai concludes that Ahito's constant fatigue comes from the high amount of Breath in his body]] in season 3.

* PhlebotinumOverdose: Aarch suffered this after over-using the Smog in the backstory. Sinedd showed hints of it in season 2.

Notable because while the team is often surrounded by intergalactic conspiracy, corporate evil and the occasional off-screen genocide, the the Snow Kids are usually mostly unaware of the grand space opera brewing around them and are more concerned with team squabbles and perfecting their dribbling then they are with the evil conspiracy out to get them.

The story centres around a group of misfit teenagers recruited by veteran footballer Aarch, to play in the Galactik Football Cup. His new team, The Snow Kids, must face off against a host of magically endowed alien teams and more teen angst then you can shake a stick at if they are to have any hope of advancing in the competition.

* NotSoDifferent: D'jok and Sinedd are both JerkJocks, both are strikers, both grew up as orphans, both have the hots for Mei and both 'betrayed' their teams at one point or another.
