''Black Dynamite'' is an 2012 AnimatedAdaptation of the 2009 movie ''Film/BlackDynamite'', which was an AffectionateParody of {{Blaxploitation}} films, on Creator/AdultSwim. The series does not follow the same StylisticSuck of the movie, instead it ratchets up the silliness by mixing in supernatural, extraterrestrial, and just whacked out nonsense to its plots, largely derived from 1970s black pop culture, with a ''lot'' of LampshadeHanging, as Black Dynamite and his crew take on any threats that seek to put the black man down.

* WhereTheWhiteWomenAt: Inverted in ''Honkey Kong''; it's why Honky Kong took a liking to Honey Bee, [[spoiler: and, come episode's end, [[ItMakesSenseInContext a chocolate-covered Dolly Parton]]]].

* ParallelPornTitles: The second episode has examples in the form of ''[[BigTroubleInLittleChina Big Trouble in Little Vagina]]'', ''[[Film/OceansEleven Ocean's Eleven Inches]]'', and, for an example relevant to the story, ''[[Film/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory Willy Wanker and the Chocolate Fucktory]]''.
