* TalkingToYourself: Luke Newman plays both Davros and the Doctor in this series.

Due to mounting pressures and setbacks, the decision was made by Newman in November 2019 to end the series.

* TheRemake: This for the entire four year run of the show, beginning in late 2019 (branded officially as a Remaster), after DW2012 decided the earlier seasons no longer reflected the quality output of their now more professionally made content. Filmed and produced back to back with the fifth season, this allows Newman to reprise his role as The Doctor for the foreseeable future. Some of the cast remain the same, but new ones have replaced others, and some episodes have had whole scenes expanded upon or new ones created that add to the story.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Dominic's first season as The Doctor and the remake of their anniversary special "Eternal Darkness", both of which may never see the light of day due to Newman ending the series.

* HeReallyCanAct: Luke Newman and Ryan Hennessy (The Bald Doctor) shine particularly, in two different respects: Newman delivers his lines like William Shatner, but with even longer pauses and awkward silences, but can get really intense when the script calls for the Doctor to get angry and ranting; Ryan Hennessy, by contrast, is excellent at subtlety. Jay Guinness as the Master, however, is the one that really shines, proof that the show really neeeded a smug Main/MagnificentBastard.
