''[=Mega64=]'' is a low-budget (though their budget has increased considerably) SketchComedy series created by and starring Rocco Botte, Derrick Acosta, and Shawn Chatfield. The series started out focusing primarily on skits involving one or more people reenacting video games in real life. Many of ''[=Mega64=]'''s skits can be watched on their [[https://www.youtube.com/user/RoccoB64 YouTube channel]]. However they have started focusing more on the main story and miscellaneous.

* LoadsAndLoadsOfRoles: Rocco plays Rocko and Poque, Derrick plays Derek and Horatio, Shawn plays Sean and Marcus, and Garrett plays Lobo Fuerte, Jessse, Frankie, [[spoiler:and Garret, leader of FALZ.]] Besides those major roles, they all play many incidental characters both in and outside of the main series.

** ''VideoGame/StanleyParable'': a vagrant woman stole Rocco's phone and threw it near traffic.

* EightPointEight[[invoked]]: Parodied in "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko1sklmOR9E Modern Game Journalism The Movie]]", where a once-respected game journalist becomes a pariah because he dares to give ''VideoGame/Uncharted3DrakesDeception'' an 8.5 out of 10.

* PoliticalCorrectnessGoneMad: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvpNtuSa-Lo TODD & AARON'S GAME AWARDS 2014!!!!!!!! (FAMILY FRIENDLY)]] is built around this down to the title, opening with a fake legal disclaimer where Todd & Aaron have been deemed "unfunny and offensive", and this new show will have no vulgarities or inflammatory statements. While this is ignored almost immediately by the duo, it still comes to ahead later in the episode, where the "Hottest Chick I Wanna Bang" category is reduced down to "Girl" because they couldn't say the original phrase anymore.

* MindScrew: In the VideoGame/HeavyRain skit- as in the game, the guys are looking for Jason [[spoiler:and one of them turns out to have been Jason all along. "You have earned a trophy. Find Jason (You were Jason)"]]
* ThrowItIn: While pretty much all the videos are unscripted by their very nature, there are occasional moments [=Mega64=] didn't originally plan on having the video be about, but then include them in the video to tie things together or help guide the punchline. For example they weren't originally sure what the hook of their ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidV'' video would be... until they bumped into a random pedestrian who looked ''exactly'' like Code Talker from the game.

* VillainDecay: Poque starts out as a megalomaniac MadScientist with world domination ambitions; he's clearly a sadist who enjoys the power trip of kidnapping people and experimenting on them until they die. In the later seasons, Poque is written as if he was simply a naive and misguided victim, [[JustFollowingOrders simply following FALZ' orders.]] Given Poque's enormous ambitions and ego at the start of the series, the drastic change in his personality is quite noticeable.

* VillainDecay: Poque starts out as a megalomaniac MadScientist with world domination ambitions; he's clearly a sadist who enjoys the power trip of kidnapping people and experimenting on them until they die. In Version 2, the character starts to soften, but in Version 3, he's basically just a lazy and bumbling stooge for FALZ, and all trace of his original ambition and ego have disappeared.
