He's tall and skinny, with a goatee. He changes his name often, and the place where he posts his videos is very non-descript.

He's Doctor Forrester. He's showing us these really horrible 80s/90s movies to find the one that drives us insane, and thus use it to rule the world. His comments are because, after seeing Joel/Mike and the Bots "riff" on movies, he decided to try it himself. And this "The Bum" guy? He's what happened to Dr. Earhardt.

* This actually makes some sense, but I think you got the reason for the riffing wrong: he's doing a series of controlled experiments to determine why and how riffing affects the experience of viewing bad cinema and using the comments section under the video in order to gauge each experiment's effectiveness. Eventually, he will determine which collection of which clips of film is impervious to riffing, and, after splicing together a master reel, will use ''that'' film to conquer the world. It's the best way to overcome the greatest weakness in his superweapon!
** He even reverts to type when he kidnaps The Nostalgia Chick and makes her watch ''{{Bratz}}''.

* Or better yet, the Critic will become Dr. Forrester. After years of the Crittic seeing bad films, he looses it, and becomes evil, as he shows others (Joel, Mike, and the bots) who it felt to be him. That is much better, I think.

* MikeJ: The entire month is his territory afterall.

* MarzGurl and/or JesuOtaku: Both are women with specialization in animation. Neither have intereacted directly with the Critic before (okay Marz was in Kickassia but she spent most of her time with the army recruits than anyone else and they had no scenes with just the two) and therefore would actually ''trump'' the Chick. As for the and, it could be an equivalent to Alone In The Dark and give both much needed exposure on site. Plus, it would be awesome.

Or rather half-brothers.His mother cheated on his father,and had an affair with Nerd's dad.9 months later the infant Nerd was adopted by his father.His feud with the Nerd is because he reminds him of his mother's infidelity,which led to his parents squabbling(as seen with the picture)

It would explain why they look the same.For that matter,the Bum could be Ask That Guy's kid as well.
