While the manga was released in 2000, ''Music/DemonDays'' wasn't released until 2005, and the part takes place in 2012, the music of Gorillaz is touted as being contemporary, thus keeping it in the realm of possibility. In regards to the lyrics themselves, they describe how the complacency of society leaves them just as much of prisoners as those in jail are and encourages escapism (I.E. '' You got a new horizon, it's ephemeral style / A melancholy town where we never smile''), which works on a few levels. From the perspective of Jolyne and co., it fits with their punkish, rebellious attitudes and how all of them are actually prisoners in Green Dolphin, whereas from the perspective of Pucci, he sees the idea of "Heaven" as being the ultimate form of escapism from the shackles of fate, though not in a particularly conventional sense.

He was killed by no one other than [[Franchise/MickeyMouse THE mouse]]. Think about it: Mickey escaped, and with the powers of CartoonPhysics it would be [[DeconstructedTrope very easy to kill a real person]] with said physics, and a cartoon character would be able to defeat GER or Golden Experience (or even any Stand, really) if [[RuleOfFunny "it was funny"]]. Also, [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureDiamondIsUnbreakable this wouldn't be the first time a Joestar was defeated by a rat]].

The most obvious futureproofing change would be renaming Disney-MGM Studios into Disney's Hollywood Studios, given that it was renamed prior to 2012. As for Bohemian Rhapsody, unless the character designs aren't fully set in stone, like the [[Literature/SnowWhite Seven Dwarves]], David Production will go the extra mile to get the licensing rights to have the characters resemble their original designs, potentially even having characters like Franchise/SpiderMan be shown in full, and potentially even getting WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse to be a part of it like Araki had initially planned.

In the manga, public domain material had redesigns to be distinctive from any prior interpretation, whereas copyrighted material, such as WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse and Franchise/SpiderMan, were either scaled down and shoved in the background or were obscured in some way. Disregarding what licenses David Production will be able to use with being owned by Creator/WarnerBros, what they do decide to use will be shown off in full, and if it's a copyrighted character, they'll remain faithful to their source material, while public domain characters will still keep their distinctive style, like the [[Literature/SnowWhite Seven Dwarfs]].

Given his fate at the end of ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind'' it's possible that, like Pucci, he didn't make it into the new universe either. This would also cancel out the events of the manga post ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureBattleTendency'' unless someone else found the Stand Arrows, which is possible since Diavolo was part of a team.
