At the end of his first appearance in the campaign, he put on rubber gloves and brought forth from a HAZMAT bag a d20 that had been touched by Wil Wheaton, and presented the opportunity to destroy it to the cast. They did so. But in his second appearance, Shakäste was far less impressive just due to horrible dice rolls. The gloves and HAZMAT bag weren't enough to prevent the curse from taking him.

* The fiend she's seeing in her dreams could be someone she made a pact with after running away from her wife's execution. She returned as a CrusadingWidower / VengefulWidow, then went on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge and slaughtered her whole tribe. The "missing time" could be either the fiend's price for her deal, or it might've been the Stormlord's way of saving her from a [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone complete mental breakdown]] so she could eventually redeem herself. Her moniker of "Orphan-Maker" could've come from this moment of slaughter instead of given to her by the tribe.

She does this to ensure that the Mighty Nein meet in the way they did, as any deviations from the "canon" timeline resulted in reality falling apart, or something equally horrific.

* It could be simple coincidence, but there are distinct similarities that link the two (both are half-elves with druidic powers [[spoiler:and names starting with the letter V]], and both Viridian's missing leg and her admission that she had been on the island for close to three decades (while not being able to remember anything before that) line up with [[spoiler:Vilya last being seen around 30 years prior, and the Water Ashari's attempt to locate her body after her failed Aramenté only to find a single leg]]. Considering that the island seems to slowly erase the memories of its inhabitants, it's entirely possible that [[spoiler:Vilya, after disappearing from Vesrah/the Plane of Water, was somehow transported to Rumblecusp and remained there]].

She responds that he's laying low and trying to make amends. Now who else does Caduceus know for a fact is also trying to make amends for past mistakes? Gustav]].

** It is an interesting idea, but I dont see travis willing to play a totally new charcter for a few episodes and then going back to Fjord. As their have been no announcements of travis taking a break, it would just come across as kind of a dick move to force a player to only use a new charcter for a few episodes. To be fair I could see Matt pulling a similar story line with out having Fjord be dead during the experience, and honeslty that is where Fjords character arc has been going to begin with.

That would explain both the missing memories of the islanders and the feeling of always being watched that the M9 experiences. It would also explain why the dead are givid to Avocado, they'r enot cremated, they're being consumed.

* The woman was described as a 'spell slinger from the capital' very interested in some strange tome that Lucien had. Maybe it was Astrid after some artefact that Trent Ikithon wanted.

[[WMG: The woman who 'killed' Lucien is the unknown spell caster who [[spoiler: turned Veth into a goblin]], and/or possibly the unknown woman in the asylum who removed Bren's false memories.]]

He was taking a part of a ritual of consecution, and whatever [[spoiler:soul occupied the Empty Body afterwards was the Molly we came to love]]. This, of course, means Molly [[spoiler:(the original, at least) may come back]].

[[WMG: The Cerberus Assembly was ''also'' kidnapping the Empire kids who [[spoiler: remember their past lives as consecuted Kryn Dynasty souls]]]]
* The Assembly was experimenting on the stolen Beacon to try and learn more about dunamancy, when a bunch of nearby adolescent kids started acting weird (not all of them would be able to keep 100% quiet about [[spoiler: experiencing strange new memories and knowing a completely foreign system of magic]]).
* The Assembly takes interest, and tried to take these kids in for further study/questioning/experimentation; to learn more about dunamancy, and also to learn more about [[spoiler: the Kryn Dynasty's strength and movements]].

* It became a race between the Empire kidnapping these kids for study, and the Dynasty kidnapping them to [[spoiler: return them to their old lives]].

[[WMG: Caleb, Astrid, and Eodwulf are already [[spoiler: reborn consecuted souls, and their memories of past lives were wiped by Trent]].]]
* Beacons [[spoiler: store consecuted souls coming from bodies that die within their ranges]], and the Cerberus Assembly was experimenting on a Beacon within the Empire. What if [[spoiler: three Kryn spies in the Empire (or just three consecuted souls) died within the Beacon's range, and were reborn into those three kids]]?
* [[spoiler: The Cerberus Assembly might've tried to get access to reborn Kryn souls more subtly, by scouting out kids with strange affinities towards magic and recruiting them into a regulated environment for study and testing - like enrollment in Soltryce Academy]].
* [[spoiler: Once the three kids begin recalling memories of their past lives, Trent would've questioned and interrogated them for knowledge about the Kryn Dynasty, as well as any knowledge of dunamancy they might have. Afterwords, the three kids could be experimented on (like imbedding crystals in their arms to try and access dunamancy). Finally, after wiping their memories of being Kryn entirely, they could also trained to be Empire-loyal interrogators and executioners in order to take down the Dynasty they once served in previous lives]].

[[WMG: Dairon's personal hatred of the Kryn came from [[spoiler: someone close to her being a reborn consecuted soul]]]]
* Perhaps the "many lives lost" she experienced at the hands of the Kryn was [[spoiler: a Xhorhasian "kidnapping" gone wrong. Maybe a young kid close to her started remembering their past lives in the Dynasty, and Kryn operatives sent to retrieve them ended up killing several innocent Empire citizens in the process]].

[[WMG: Beau's younger brother will be kidnapped, and it will be because [[spoiler: he is a reborn consecuted soul, and some members of the Kryn Dynasty will try to get him back into Xhorhas]].]]
* If one of the Beacons within the Empire was being held somewhere near Kamordah, it would be within range for [[spoiler: a consecuted Kryn soul to be reborn into the body of a human boy, specifically Beau's brother]].
* Beau's parents would likely try to get their son back at all costs [[spoiler: even if he might have willingly gone with the Kryn once he remembers his past lives]], so they may reach out to hire the Mighty Nein to track down their son. If Beau finds out why her brother was kidnapped, she would have to choose whether [[spoiler: his life would be better off with their parents in the Empire, or living in Xhorhas as a reborn Kryn]].

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Nott's son, Luc Brenatto, is a reborn consecuted soul]]]]
* Being around 5 years old and living in Felderwin, he might have been born [[spoiler: within the range of one of the Beacons within the Empire, and gained a reborn Kryn soul]].
* His distant reaction toward [[spoiler: his mother returning home]] is likely trauma from the Xhorhassian attack, but on top of that he could also be [[spoiler: getting strange memories of his past lives that he doesn't understand]].
* [[spoiler: While Yeza Brenatto was working with the Cerberus Assembly to study the Beacon, perhaps Vess [=DeRogna=] noticed something in Luc that caught her eye... If the Mighty Nein return to Felderwin, they might find that Luc has been kidnapped by the Cerberus Assembly for "further study" of reborn consecuted souls and their connection to Dunamancy]].
** That last part is [[spoiler:Jossed, at least for now. Luc and his caretaker Edith have been safely escorted to Nicodranas by Shakaste.]]

* [[spoiler: Along with Trent using Soltryce to scout out kids for his covert executioner training, Vess De Rogna comments that "the Academy’s eyes for talent proves itself again" in regards to coercing Yeza into studying the Beacon. Perhaps Soltryce's acceptance rates cater specifically to finding magically talented individuals willing to do their bidding]].

* Ashley confirmed that Yasha [[NeverFoundTheBody never saw the body]] by running away before [[spoiler:the tribe physically executed Zuala]]. Possibilities for her fate include:
** Living in exile somewhere after somehow [[spoiler:escaping her execution]].
** Still [[spoiler:living in the tribe, but trapped in the unhappily ArrangedMarriage she tried to avoid]].
** Still [[spoiler:part of the tribe, and actually being happy in a PerfectlyArrangedMarriage]] instead.

* His actions do come across as very suspicious, like [[spoiler:being skilled enough in Dunamancy to work at the Bright Queen's court, wanting to know who Yeza worked for and report his experiments, and suddenly presenting the Mighty Nein with a free Rosohnian house (that could easily be bugged with magical listening spells/devices)]]. However, Essek could possibly just have a benign interest in the group, or could be unaware of the manipulative intentions the Kryn Dynasty might have for them.

* From Campaign 1, [[spoiler:Dr. Anna Ripley]] developed military technology for the Dwendalian Empire before she was [[spoiler:caught doing illegal human and biological experiments]], and King Dwendal ordered her arrest. However, it's possible that she was not working alone, and in fact was part of a larger network of political corruption. When certain experiments were uncovered by an outside source, King Dwendal made her the fall-guy for whatever was revealed, and continued the rest of them in secret.
* Now in Campaign 2, the possibility exists that King Dwendal personally orchestrated the creation of [[spoiler:the "Scourgers" (royal assassins, or "Vollstrecker")]] in order to carry out [[SecretPolice covert political missions]] for the Empire. Given the close ties of the Cerberus Assembly to the royal Dwendalian house, he might actively be involved in their schemes rather than merely a PuppetKing.

* Viridian aka [[spoiler:Vilya]] - Creator/JuliaRoberts
** The reunion with [[spoiler:Keyleth]] is seen entirely as a reflection in Nott's eye - which fills the screen clearly enough to be screencapped anyway

* Now that they're teasing [[spoiler:Nott being turned back into Veth and likely retiring from adventuring altogeher]], it stands to reason that [[spoiler:Sam will be taking on another character just like Taliesin did after they lost Mollymauk.]] It all leads up to a BigBadassBattleSequence, after Caduceus gives a RousingSpeech about how he went from being the new guy to the only veteran left, before they all run into the breach...
** Technically [[spoiler:Veth is still on the team, while her base stats are roughly the same, her racial abilities are different, wether this counts as a different character is up for opinion.]]

** Signs are pointing to Vokodo being a Morkoth, as in Episode 104, [[spoiler:Cadeucus' Commune with Melora reveals that it is a refugee from the Astral Sea.]] Morkoths, per Volo's Guide to Monsters, [[spoiler:are native to the Astral Sea and are plane-travelers that steal parts of the planes through which they travel]], which would explain the shattered nature of Rumblecusp's varied terrain.

* Caduceus was the one who suggested that [[spoiler: Artagan impersonate the Moonweaver.]] In the next episode, he says that Artagan seemed overly receptive to some bad ideas, perhaps referring to the talk of human sacrifice, but perhaps also to the act of sacrilege Artagan agreed to. As a wise and charismatic cleric, Caduceus probably knows enough about the gods to know how they would respond. He was either testing Artagan, trying to trick him into being punished by the gods, or both. Perhaps he was working as an agent of the Wildmother, or perhaps he just really didn't like or trust the Traveler, as implied by his comments in the next episode.

Essek is very keen on unlocking all hidden secrets of the Luxon, to the point of [[spoiler: aligning with the Cerberus Assembly and starting the war]]--an act that has only furthered his need to understand time and undo past mistakes. Eventually he'll combine the power of the Luxon with whatever ancient knowledge is dug up in Aeor and utilize it in an attem to re-write history--an act that is far beyond his power and will likely backfire. His attempts will force the Nein's hand and stop him, but doing so will be the final quest after all other plot hooks (Uk'otoa, etc) are resolved.

Between either [[spoiler: Beau and Yasha]] or [[spoiler: Fjord and Jester]].
