YMMV pothole on main.

* FakeDifficulty: The game is hard because of [[ObviousBeta how buggy it is]], very difficult jumps that look like you should've made it, and [[HitboxDissonance poor hit detection when it comes to combat.]]

This ''Zorro'' DOS [[UsefulNotes/IBMPersonalComputer DOS]] game was released in 1995 by Capstone Software.

Based on the series of books by Johnston McCulley, ''Zorro'' is a side-scrolling platform game that has certain similarities to ''Prince of Persia'' and other so-called "cinematic platformers". The emphasis of the gameplay is on careful advancement through the levels and physical activities such as jumping and climbing. Zorro has two weapons at his disposal - a whip and a sword; the sword is more powerful, but the whip has a longer range.

Added DiffLines:

* HeroesPreferSwords: Zorro was always defined as a master swordsman, so he's fighting with one in here as well. Though, you may end up relying on a whip more, just so that you can stay out of enemies' range for longer and not fall prey to hit detection glitches.

Added DiffLines:

* WhipItGood: Zorro can switch between a whip and a sword at any time.

* FakeDifficulty: The game is hard because of poor programming, very difficult jumps, and poor hit detection.
* InformedAbility: Although Zorro is a badass in other mediums, because the game is so bad he's probably going to be falling to his death constantly. It is difficult to kill the random enemies, too.

Moving to YMMV

* GoodBadBugs: If you press Escape, it will ask you if you want to leave the game, yes or no. When you're falling from a great height, when you open that menu when you're near the ground and select "no," Zorro will be unharmed from the fall.

This ''Zorro'' DOS game was released in 1995 by Capstone Software.

Don Diego Vega has a secret identity - that of Zorro, a masked swordsman who has sworn to protect the innocents of California, at the time a Spanish colony. Among the powerful and corrupted men there is Don Cortez, who hopes to gain even more power by discovering an ancient treasure. Honoring his word, Zorro sets out to stop the Cortez, alone against nearly impossible odds...

The game utilizes cutscenes with live actors to advance the story.
